Our family would love to invite you to stay with us! This home, once our full-time family home, is a perfect little get-a-way. Whether you prefer an escape from the city to quietly read a book while nestled by the fire, or you are looking for an adventure, this home is the spot to relax and rejuvenate.

The area offers amazing wineries, "farm to table" restaurants, hiking trails, biking trails, waterfall adventures, mountain fishing, there is something for every nature enthusiast to enjoy.

Our home is located 6 miles from the quaint town of Helen, GA, and 7 miles from the Sautee Nacoochee Valley. Only a short drive further and you have Clarkesville, Lake Burton, Batesville and Clayton. If you are seeking to tour the amazing wineries in the area, the wine bus will pick you up. This house is a true gem and set in a great location for access to many northeast Georgia locations.

This home boasts the setting for family and friends! With the large great room you will feel right at home during your stay. If staying-in is your preference you will find great Wifi, a hot tub and a cozy fireplace. There is also a fire pit out back. If you prefer to venture out there are endless things to do in the area, including amazing wineries, ziplining, hiking, biking, swimming, amazing farm-to-table restaurants, great fishing, ATV trails, horseback riding, antique shopping, and the list goes on. Just up the road 3 miles you will find Unicoi State Park which is always hopping with activities.

This home is based on a true Southern Living (Wildmere Cottage floor plan) design so you can vacation in comfort and style. It was once our beloved family home, and now we have opened it to share with you! This home boasts 3 large bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bath, and an additional loft with two XL full-size beds. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Bring the crew and enjoy your time in the mountains.

Property was perfect for me, my two sisters and my dog. The house was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Loved the large front porch. It is conveniently located to hiking trails and downtown Helen. The owner was very responsive to any questions.

Cozy clean cottage farmhouse

We had a lovely stay. Our 4 adults and two kids for a family spring break trip. It was so nice to each have our own full bathroom, as well as two separate living areas to all have space. We loved the hot tub and front swings. Great property! Thank you!

Overall clean and quiet

This listing is exactly as described… BUT EVEN BETTER! We had every single thing that we needed at the house. Cabinets even labeled for easy finding! It was spotless when we got there. Jamie was very communicative and we were even able to check in early! The house is very spacious. Our kids loved the “game room”. This was their hideout for the week. Hot tub was extremely easy to use. Helen was an easy ride down, less than 10 minutes. The KWIK SAK gas station was able to fulfill the needs of things we needed quickly. Overall, amazing home in a great area for peace and comfort with a little adventure all around!

Beautiful House and Great Location

This house was perfect for my family. It’s beautiful, the front porch and swing is amazing. The hot tub area and flat top grill is nice. We have a 10 month old so it was great having a high chair available and a gate on the stairs there. The property is nice. The fire pit in the backyard was fantastic. My 5 year old never ate so many s’mores. The location is an easy drive to Helen. It only takes about 10 minutes. It’s a great place to stay.

Great location

Awesome location to downtown Helen and other hiking/exploring spots. Great to have such a clean cozy home that is also dog friendly. Jamie was very helpful by reaching out to make sure all of our expectations were met. We have been coming to Helen for October fest every year and we will definitely be booking this home again in the future!

Beautiful Mountain Property!

My family and I really enjoyed this beautiful home. The home offers a georgeous view of the blue ridge mountains from its spacious front porch. The nights were quite and the drive to Helen was short. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub in the screened in back porch was a favorite.

Perfect for Our Large Group

We stayed for a long weekend with a "larger" group of friends, layout of house & sleeping arrangements were perfect for us. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch most of the time when we were at the house. The house is 6 miles outside of Helen which was perfect too. We did not have internet service the entire weekend. Upon arrival I contacted the owners who had to reach out to the service providers, was told it would be back up in 2 hours. However, our phones never connected to the internet. Also, per check out instructions was instructed to take all trash outside to the cans and lock up. We walked around the property and never found any trash cans. We did not want to just leave the trash at the house so we took all of it with us in our car! I did contact the owner again to let them know we left, and never had internet service & couldn't find the trash cans it has been 2 days now and I have not received a message back. Overall house was great and we would consider again for our group. Thank you!
