Perfect getaway

Quaint comfortable home in perfect location. Only 5 minute drive to downtown Helen but set back in the woods where it felt very secluded. Our family loved the property and would definitely return. Great for a couple’s getaway or full family retreat.

Wonderful secluded cabin close to Helen and Waterfall Hikes

We wanted to be near Helen but away from the tourist crowds. This was the perfect spot. The amenities include a hot tub and a gazebonear a small creek.

What a wonderful place to stay

I could express how highly I would recommend this place for your stay. Pet friendly just added to our enjoyment of this place. Just minutes from Helen, your lucky to have a place to yourself with hot tub, fire pit, small creek and will equipped kitchen. You really couldn't ask for more.

Awesome retreat

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. It was close enough to Helen but away from the crowds. It was spacious. There were plenty of towels and blankets. The cabin was decorated very cute. It’s very relaxing and we would stay again!

Great Place to Stay Near Helen

Everything was great. Hot tub was spacious and clean. Small creek with waterfalls was definetly a plus. Places to hike and explore as well. Rental was beautiful inside and out. Two to three miles from downtown. Will stay there again on my next visit!!

Thank you for letting us stay. We enjoyed the home away from home. It was relaxing. My family enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub and the waterfall. Definitely a rememberable birthday. My family would love to come back and stay again in the home. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone that would going to the area and needed a place to stay.

Nice place!

Girls trip for 2! We enjoyed the cabin layout, as we each had our “master suite”. Hot tub good. LOVED the bed swing near the little creek. I would say thats the best part. Home very clean. Only downsides are…it is right on a busy road. Could also have a few more Kitchen supplies like alum foil or “tupperware type” bowls to cover up food.

Tucked Away

Town of Helen Ga is a unique little town in North GA with a theme of a German Village one might see in Bavaria. Nice restaurants and shops and very nice people! We went tubing on the Chatahoochie river and had a great time. Also hiked to Anna Ruby Falls only a half a mile from our cabin. I would reccommend this place to anyone thinking of a trip to the area. Oh, and the Hot tub was really nice too!

Great Home!

The pictures do not do this home justice. I was very pleasantly surprised, the home was a lot better than I expected. The home was clean and well stocked. A nice private setting. The sounds of the creek are very relaxing. The home was very well laid out and felt nice and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect In Every Way

Location was perfect for visiting Helen, GA and Unicoi State Park. The only negative was the Park was closed for employee training, but another hiking trail and falls were located nearby. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Host answered questions promptly. Was sad to leave, but already planning another trip for tubing in the summer!

Liked the property

We liked the property, however the bunk beds were not made with sheets in piles on the bed. There was trash scattered inside and outside. Nothing major, but enough to make us question if a cleaning company was used or just hurriedly straightened up before. The hot tub was empty and had debris in it. I had to fill it up for us to use. However, we did enjoy our stay after we had to do a little work. The kids really enjoyed the creek, and the lower deck. We had an amazing time in Helen and Unicoi State Park. The location was really awesome, and secluded while being less than 10 minutes to either place.

Weekend Getaway

Home was very nice, cozy, and clean, if you want privacy! Home had just about anything that you would need while staying there. Sitting on porch and listening to the running water in the little stream was a very relaxing time (could hear the traffic from road, but still nice). Very close to Helen downtown, I would recommend place for the convenience if you were visiting Helen. FYI: I would recommend that you have a small Car or SUV, we had taken my husband's 2500 Truck and had pulled our enclosed trailer for him to be able to ride his motorcycle. Needless to say, thank God we didn't pull all the way in the driveway! We had very little room for our truck (you either had to pull or back in). It was our fault, as I should have had asked instead of just looking at the pictures thinking that there was room to turn around in the driveway by house. So, we had to make different arrangements to park our Trailer.

Secluded cabin with a great small creek and property. Hot tub needs maintenance as there were two loose pieces in the tub on the bottom. No laundry soap, but dryer sheets were available. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked. Grill needs new burners as flames were mostly in the front. We enjoyed the firepit and the detached area by the creek. I would rent this cabin. We had a nice time.
