Quiet peaceful atmosphere not difficult to get to. Great cozy cabin for a romantic getaway absolutely plan on coming back. Only minor issue we had was that the code was changed for early check in. We called Vacasa and were in in minutes.
The pictures showed exactly what was in the cabin. It was very nice and clean and smelled great when we walked in. The only problem I had when i arrived was the door code did not work so i had to contact Vacasa but they sent me a new code almost right away after speaking with an associate. Overall it was a great stay for a short weekend getaway.

Great Cabin!
Cabin was very nice and clean! Quiet area! Only issue was the door code didn’t work when we arrived. We did not have any cell service so we had to drive a few miles down the road to get in touch with someone to have the door code updated. This seems to be a common occurrence according to the other reviews. Once that was resolved we had a great trip. We would stay here again in the future.

Amazing stay
The property was really nice, the hot tub was amazing, it was the perfect size for me and my friend that stayed for a weekend. It was very clean and well taken care of. The only problem we had was getting into the cabin. The code did not work and it took us an hoir ti get in touch with someone in customer service to get us a new code. We got there a little after 11 at night and it was raining but couldnt get anyone over the phone or through text for an hour. Once we were able to get someone our stay was wonderful, but that was the only problem.
My husband and I wanted a peaceful weekend to celebrate our anniversary and this was it!!! We loved it! I read the reviews about the smell before booking, took some air freshener along and didn't need it, there were plug ins throughout the cabin. Also, did not have any trouble with the door code. We will be returning!

Two night stay
For a simple rustic with location close to hiking, the lake and Helen the location is great. It’s very peaceful. This cabin is simple. You pay for what you get kinda thing. We felt it could be been cleaner. It had a strong animal urine smell and the hot tub smelled like sulphur when the jets were running.
Its a very nice cabin and super close to Helen and cute things to do with the kids. The back porch has some torn screening and the cabin could of been a little cleaner. The bath tub was also dirty upon arrival. There were dead bugs upstairs and no kind of blinds on the window. Over all a super cute cabin. We enjoyed our stay!
Absolutely enjoyed the stay, check in was no problems. Door lock code worked first time. The only issue that may need to be addressed was the overwhelming smell of animal in the cabin upon entering. So you may need some air freshener which we did have. But other than that the stay was great, very close to downtown Helen. Loved every minute. If we didn't stay so busy during our stay I would have definitely put the new high score on the Pac-Man machine. Will definitely book again in the future.
So my wife and i decided to go up for one night in helen for our anniversary. Left Saturday morning, drove 3 hours to helen, arrived early. We received a text stating that early check in was available and that the cabin was ready (mistake number 1) so we decided to go ahead and check out our cabin at around 2:30-3:00. Only to be greeted by a terrible odor inside the cabin that my wife and i couldnt figure out. We hung around inside for a bit but eneded up outside only to get 2 emails and a phone call AFTER the set check in time of 4pm to tell us that the cabin was inhabited by a pest (bats) and the smell was urine. They asked us to vacate the premises and sent us options to rent elsewhere the day of that either looked worse than what we were staying in or way out of our budget ESPECIALLY given the fact that the way they process refunds takes 5 business days. So then we had to come out of pocket for ANOTHER place to stay last minute that was the baymont by wyndam and was just as horrible. We ended up driving home at midnight and chalked it all up as a loss
