This newly renovated lakeside paradise is nestled on the backside of Yonah Mountain. Just 5 minutes outside the world famous alpine village of Helen, Ga. this private chalet is adjacent to a 22 acre lake with a picturesqueness mountain view. This home is perfect for spending romantic nights beside the fire pit, fishing with the guys, a girls vineyard getaway, or a fun-filled family weekend. Perfect for small groups of people interested in a nice place to fish, hike or just hanging out. Take the kids to the local water park, putt putt golfing, or mining for gemstones. Private, 22 acre lake, is stocked with large mouth bass, brim, crappie, and trout. Amazing for kayaking, swimming, or just resting in the hammock overlooking the serene lake and stunning views of Mt. Yonah. With the many historical sites in the area, state parks, numerous shopping sites, and kid friendly attractions, our mountain home is sure to become your favorite mountain destination.

Absolutely, breathtaking, gorgeous place. My grandchildren could not stay off the water fishing,boy do we hit the jackpot for them, it was so relaxing, so wonderful to get up in the morning drink coffee by the lake. Everything you need they have, hostess did a fantastic job. we were very pleased. Definitely would love to come back.

The house is beautiful, and the kids had so much fun fishing, swimming, and kayaking in the lake. The only downside is, there's a lot of road noise all day and night. I will say, the house more than made up for it though. Check in was a breeze, and communication with the host is flawless.

Enjoyed this beautiful and very well maintained and decorated home. Very relaxing atmosphere and property. We very much enjoyed the views and lake house vibes. First time using VRBO and excited to have found such a beautiful place to stay while exploring the beautiful Christmas towns of Helen and Dahlogena.

Weekend getaway

Beautiful home located right on the water. Had a great time taking the job boat out and catchin some bass. This was a perfect place for my fiancé and I to take a quick weekend getaway to reset. Loved it!

Fishing Trip

My brother and our spouses enjoyed our trip. The ladies did the sightseeing and my brother and I fished. We caught all the fish we needed from the patio and enjoy fishing on the lake as well.I recommend night fishing as well for catfish off the patio.There’s a great place to clean your fish.Overall, it was a great time.We look forward to another trip in the future.

Beautiful getaway

We absolutely loved this place! We used it for our micro wedding and it was amazing, everything I could have asked for with the beautiful views of the mountain and lake. Everyone enjoyed fishing and hanging out on the patio around the fire pit. We will definitely come back!

Overall stay was good .Very nice and clean inside ,nice beds and lots of extra towels !! Had lot of fun fishing. but spider webs were on out side seatings and was dusty .

Perfect!

Such a lovely home with the perfect view. The home was immaculate, very clean and very comfortable, beautiful home. My husband and I both said it never felt like we were in a vacation rental, it felt like we were at home, that’s the level of comfort and sweetness this home brings.House had everything we needed. Perfect location, only about five minutes to Helen. Very quiet and peaceful area. Loved sitting outside and watching/listening to the birds on the lake. Nita was wonderful with communication. We can’t recommend this vacation rental enough.

Great get away with dear friends

AMAZING beautiful home. Everything was A++ Location, view, two decks , amazing decor, amazing lake right off of deck. It’s such a great place to stay and just a short ride away from Helen. The house had everything we needed even beach towels. Our host was responsive and fantastic!! We will rent this beautiful home again. Oh and we caught lots of fish including a 7+ lb largemouth bass

Excellent Lake Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lake was amazing. The fishing was spectacular! The availability of the kayaks, paddleboards, boat, and tubes made the trip. We spent most of our time on the water. The house was very nice and comfortable and included everything we needed. Our only negative was it being on such a busy road. However, having said that...everything listed above outweighed it. We can definitely see ourselves staying here again.

Absolutely beautiful place, and the view is AMAZING!

Everything was just as listed. It's a beautiful clean home in a very convenient location for exploring the local sites. It has easy access straight from the main road but still very private. Once you're in the home and taking advantage of the magnificent patio and deck which is directly on the lake it feels completely secluded. And the view of the Mountain is gorgeous! Great communication from the host made the entire rental process very easy. I would most definitely rent it again and I highly recommend it.

Absolutely Peaceful............

This property is AMAZING and exactly as described! We spent a few days here to get away and relax and our mission was accomplished! The property was super clean and tastefully rennovated! Hats off to the host for opening up their beautiful property to guests! The fishing was out of this world! We fished all day for several days and caught fish the entire time! We will definitely return to this property in the near future! Communication wit the host was great! Super responsive and helpful!!
