Just the 2 of Us - Pet Friendly with Hot Tub and Foosball Table

This cozy fairy cottage has just been remodeled with a picturesque mural that draws you into the forest. Scattered rhinestones on the mural reflect and give the impression of fireflies and fairies fluttering overhead. During your stay, use the hiking sticks and day-pack provided for your adventures in the North Georgia Mountains!

Just the 2 of Us is only four miles from Unicoi State Park, where there are hiking trails, fishing, a restaurant, and a beach. It is also just six miles from downtown Helen, with plenty of activities, restaurants, and shops to explore.

There is a galley kitchen with a microwave and combination standard drip/K-cup coffee maker. The cabinets are filled with all the dinnerware, cookware, flatware, and glassware you will need for your stay. There is a full-size refrigerator and freezer, as well as an oven and stove top for cooking.

Enjoy the gas fireplace and television from the couch or the king-size bed. Fiber-Optics has been installed for the highest internet speed possible in our area! Bring your subscription information to log into the SmartTV on your favorite channels such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu or enjoy the free YouTubeTV set up for your entertainment. On YouTubeTV, you will have access to live news, sports, movies, and tv shows.

Please note that this is an open floor plan or studio cottage. This cottage does not have a private bedroom

The bathroom has a combination tub and shower, a hair dryer and a wall heater. We provide the towels and linens, as well as a few towels for four-legged best friends!

Turn the day into a relaxing evening in the hot tub located just outside the sliding glass doors on the back porch. Sit by the gas firepit sipping a glass of wine while your partner grills a couple of steaks on the gas grill. We provide the propane, too!

Just the 2 of Us is a group cabin perfect for a couples getaway. This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $25 + tax for each additional.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Just the 2 of Us is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The road is dirt and gravel up to the property. Low profile vehicles not recommended.

We had a great getaway 10/10We Definitely go back hut tub was amazingThey had all the utensils we need to cook there and also only one thing the knifes wasn't shrap but that was the only issue. Other tha t that we had a great time.

Anniversary getaway

We enjoyed our stay at "Just the 2 of Us". It was just what we needed. The hot tub is great after a day of walking and hiking. It is a perfect cabin off the beaten path for a relaxing getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin it was quiet and quaint! We like how close the location was to Helen and other trails we hiked. The only thing was the bed seems super worn out and we would sink in the middle of the bed.

Wonderfully Peaceful

My spouse and I absolutely loved this cabin. We came for an event on the state park and was pleasantly surprised at how close it was. We also loved that we could sit on the back porch and read early in the morning. We hope to come back very soon as this is only 2 hours from us. Great getaway.

Beautifully Quaint

My daughter and I wanted a quick getaway for the weekend and this place did not disappoint. With only two of us, it was perfect. The town was amazing with so many different things to do and everyone was really friendly. The rental agency called to check in with us. Check in and out was seamless. I definitely recommend!

Just what we needed

We stayed over the weekend to disconnect from our busy lives. The great location felt pretty secluded. The cabin is surrounded by trees. You can see other cabins but these were not occupied at this time, so it worked for us. Just the 2 of us provided what we needed.

Perfect for Two

My husband and I stayed there for our 24th anniversary and also took our small boston terrier along with us. All accommodations are geared for two people only. It was perfect. We loved the location. My husband always has issues with the beds when we travel due to his back issues but that was not the case on this trip. We plan to book this cabin anytime we visit the Helen, GA area.

Floor in bathroom is old and needs replacing. Sliding glass doors in the back does not have a lock. A piece of PVC pipe was laid in the track to stop the door from opening. Plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen amenities, and the hot tub was fantastic.

Comfortable!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Just the 2 of Us! It was the perfect getaway from the grind of every day life with full-time careers and kids. Comfortable, clean, and just secluded enough. It was within a 10 minute drive to downtown Helen, Anna Ruby Falls, Unicoi State Park, and much more! It was very easy to go to Helen to pick up groceries and other things we might need during our stay. It rained almost the entire time during our visit, but the foosball table, comfortable couch, and internet access kept us busy. All in all, a wonderful stay. We plan to visit again in the future!

Helen Trip

The cabin was extremely clean and the check-in process was simple. All instructions were easy to follow and the rental company was easily available if necessary. The cabin was pretty much as expected from the photos. Some features are a little outdated (for example you can tell the bathroom floor is old and it has some tears in the linoleum) and the kitchen is a little scarce if you want to cook, but overall it was all my husband and I needed with our two dogs. The hot tub worked well. The cabin is close to downtown Helen and there are plenty of decent hiking locations nearby. The only downside of this cabin was that there is a full time resident neighbor with two smaller dogs they let loose that kept running through the woods and aggressively came up to us/our cabin barking and it made it difficult to take our dogs out at times.

There were also three dogs from a neighboring cabin that ran loose and came aggressively at me, my husband and two German Shepherds more than once. We had to finally throw rocks at them to make them leave. It was stressful to say the least. The hot tub was the highlight of our stay, but we cut it short due to the issues.

The internet wifi passwords were not posted like in other cabins we’ve rented and even when we are on vacation we still have to work, so internet is important for us .... The passwords we were given when we called didn’t work and we ended up having to use our phone as a hotspot. We will continue to book through GA Mtn Rentals as our overall experiences are wonderful!
