This is a serene and enjoyable rental within easy access to Helen. The beds are incredibly comfortable. I slept in the master bedroom and can’t remember when I’ve had better sleep. The host is INCREDIBLY responsive. There are snacks and coffee stocked in the kitchen. The house would be a dream for people with young kids—there are several game areas and a fantastic fire pit (stocked with wood). The front door (and two of bedrooms) are up a flight of stairs, so it might not be the best rental for anyone who struggles with stairs.
This house had plenty of activities! We have our girls weekend every year in the mountains. We had a blast here. We had a couple of concerns at first. The property management cleared it all up very quickly! Amazing trip!Perfect for families with children/teenagers. So much for them to do…pickle ball, firepit with provided s’mores, ping pong, pool table, poker table, creekside…and list goes on.Highly recommend, especially for families!,
This cabin was everything my family and I were looking for. We had a group of 11 and it suited us perfectly. We enjoyed all of the amenities. The in-law suite is absolutely spectacular. All rooms were nice and clean. We love the fire pit, the pickleball court, and especially the game room. There is a beautiful, calming stream that runs in front of the property which made it so relaxing while sitting by the fire pit. The host was extremely responsive...literally always answered in seconds. It's only a few short minutes from downtown Helen. I Would definitely recommend this place.
This was a lovely home tucked into an absolutely beautiful surrounding. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pickleball court was a huge hit and the group is planning the next trip!
We stayed with family for my son’s 13th birthday weekend. The games and outdoor activities were a hit! The nearby river was also a perk. Would stay again.
Property is gorgeous and secluded. The 2 structures were perfect for the family weekend my husband and I planned. It's just as pictured and somewhere I would definitely stay again. How was accommodating and responsive.
We absolutely LOVED this property! With 5 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from 11-18, there was plenty for us to do on the days that we didn’t venture out. The property is close to downtown Helen as well as other fun places to go around the area. We loved driving across the creek every time we came “home” and we even saw a bear on the property! We played too many pickleball games to count, enjoyed both game rooms, had a movie night with popcorn down in the movie room, and spent lots of time hanging out down by the creek or in the hot tub. This property is lovely, well maintained, extremely functional for large groups, and the host was fantastic to communicate with. My only suggestion for future guests is to make sure that you lookup directions on your phone while you are connected to WiFi at the house. There is zero reception, which was totally fine by me, but the maps and GPS on your phone won’t be able to guide you unless you “start” while you’re connected to the WiFi at the house.
I booked this property because it was big enough for the two families. The place was immaculately clean when we arrived. The main house had a bedroom upstairs with its own bathroom. The main floor had a master bedroom with its own bathroom, two additional bedrooms, an additional bathroom, a laundry closet and of course a kitchen and living room. Downstairs had a foosball table, a ping pong table and little theater room with a couch with its own bathroom. The main house had a grill which we used one night and has a covered hot tub. I couldn't get the hot tub to work at first but a quick message to Timea and she had someone out there asap to get it up and running. Next to the main house was a garage with a studio on the second floor. The studio has a king bed, two chairs, a small coffee table, bathroom/shower, and a kitchenette. Down below in the garage was a game room with poker table (with cards and chips!), a pool table, TV, and two arcade games: a golf game, and Pac-man (which included Galaga and Dig Dug for you 1980s kids). And yes, I played all of them. In-between the main house and the studio/garage is a pickleball court, which we got to use when we had some sunshine. The house was about a 15 minute drive to downtown Helen. The host, Timea, was great with communication. Would stay here again without question. It has everything you need for a large gathering.
