For overnighting travel the complicated checkin made the staff look poorly. Expedia implied a pay onsite checkin but I never saw the staff. We corresponded entirely by text message. The check-in window is very narrow so you really can only pay and check-in by phone and website. The room HVAC was so loud and blows over the bed every 40 minutes so sleep was bad. The bed was over soft and had a large depression in the middle so we had to sleep close to the edge to minimize back pain. The setting is in good condition but it is dated. Room ventilation was poor so that even the bathroom fan running a long time could not get the excess humidity out of the room. For the value to price, I wish I had stayed elsewhere for an overnight stop.

The property is very well maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, they leave at about 5 PM and as a result for sometime, I was the only person in the whole place. I tried very hard to make sure I didn’t think about the movie “The Shining”. Once I got comfortable, it was very nice! I highly recommend.

It was a great cozy cabin for two with a sizable Jacuzzi tub, comfy bed and a warm fire place! Wine tasting was very personal just you and your party plus whoever is managing the inn that day. Wine tastings are by appointment $25 a person.

Great place to stay!

The hotel is quaint and beautiful. The great room is very cozy and there is a nice porch to sit outside and have a glass of wine. The room was very comfortable and the staff was fantastic!
