"Charming and unique stay. We only stayed one night but we really enjoyed it. There’s not much happening in the town and the day we arrived the restaurant was closed. Breakfast was great with fresh breads and meats and cheese. Excellent coffee. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it. "

"If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me."

"House is absolute lovely, even better than the pictures. The hosts were so thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed before and during the trip. The house is very generously stocked with essentials and grocery items, it really does feel a home from home. The view from the garden and sauna is wonderful - we went in the sauna almost every day, it was so peaceful! And the location was perfect for us to enjoy the outdoors and local wine - beautiful area, perfect for cycles, hikes and visiting...

"Great location in the heart of the Wachau. Accessible by public transport (715 bus from Krems or Melk and the Wachaubahn). Lots of great walks start from near the hotel, including the UNESCO walking trail throughout the Wachau. Great restaurant - and the wine is great. "We stayed here for a few nights recently and whilst the cottage itself was nice, the furnishings were below par and, the kitchen did not have many things we have experienced in cottages across Austria. It was also a place in need of some care. The house was quite dusty, the only outdoor furniture (picnic table) was slanted the moment you sat and, made for an uncomfortable outdoor experience.
