"We have stayed several times in the UP and this was our favorite property. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we saw several deer walking around and an old sweet black lab that walks around the block. Host is always available and you can communicate with him at any time. The internet is very good for any remote workers or gamers, you will be just fine. "We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. The coffee bar was exceptionally awesome and we all enjoyed the great coffee beverages that the Jura made!! I would give the Hannu -Hause 10 stars!! We hope to come back again!!"

"The cabin was absolutely great! It was very clean. If you have kids, they have a baby gate, pack & play and booster seat. They even had supplies for your pup. "The cottage was the perfect accommodation for my husband and I while our daughter attended the Madeline Island School of the Arts for the week. The lake views are stunning and you can hear the waves gently hitting the shore…so relaxing. We spent 2 days exploring Big Bay State Park which is only a few miles away. The cottage was well equipped. We had everything we needed including paper towels, soap, toilet paper, hair dryer and more. Thank you Frank!"

"We were five friends visiting the UP for our annual ski trip and this was the most pleasant stay we've ever had! There was so much space for all of us to exist without feeling cramped. We enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. The hot tub was so nice to relax our sore muscles. The non-skiers among us appreciated being in town to wander around to shops and cafes while the rest of us were on the slopes. It's clear a lot of care and love went into this apartment....

We decided to take a last minute trip up and Jen was amazing with providing recommendations and ensuring the house was clean and ready for our overnight stay. We were looking for a little bit of everything, lake views, near food, near shopping, acess to Superior lake walking trail, and this place fulfilled. Nice natural lighting. "We went with friends to the Applefest in Bayfield. We enjoyed taking the car ferry to Madeline Island to our rental property. We found the accommodations to be enjoyable with sitting on the porch for coffee, playing games by the fire place, walking the beach, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. the host was very accessible! everyone we encounter on the island was friendly and loved their unique island. hiking was gorgeous in the parks. Definitely recommend!"

"Our stay was amazing. It started out with an unmade bed which lead to the realization that I made the reservation for the wrong night and we had gone into the house a day early.
