"I had an amazing stay – the facility was great, clean, very spacious and the hotel itself is in a brilliant location. I wish I could’ve stayed for breakfast but had no time.but what really made this stay great was “Lena Haustein ( very hospitable and friendly) and Marc Steir at reception, both these staff deserve a big raise. From the moment I arrived, Lena and Marc were genuinely welcoming and went out of their way to helped with landmarks and where else to be.

"The hotel is in a great location, and only minutes walk from all the historical sites. The staff are extremely helpful, very friendly and polite. The room was spotless and well apportioned. The breakfast was also superb, there was a great abundance and everything was so fresh. "

"Even though the hotel was quite full, the lovely woman at reception was able to give me a room facing the beautiful church next door. Very friendly and professional team at reception."
"A very nice girl checked me in and she asked if I would prefer a female only room since I was assigned a mixed room. And there were only two of us for six beds.
The shower pressure was fabulous and it was perfectly heated water.
There was a fair amount of noise in the hallways but luckily it calmed down at a reasonable time.
Thank you, A & O: all I hoped for was a good night sleep so it was a great stay. "
"Beautiful hotel in the perfect location in one of my favorite cities in Germany. Rooms very comfortable with the plus of having a kettle. We would definitely come back. "
"The location to the main train station waa awesome and it took just crossing the street and walking a minute or two to get to the front door. We paid a bit more at the front desk to get a room facing a side street.
Around 1 AM, we were woken up to the strong odor of cigarette smoke coming from the bathroom exhaust. My husband immediately went to the reception desk to report the issue. Mattias took action and placed us in a better room. We were pleased and enjoyed our stay even more.

"Right on the plaza for Dresden Christmas market. Courteous staff. Not exactly wheelchair or disable friendly building, but I can see where they have made changes to make it so. Good breakfast. Discounted parking for the garage. Overall, a comfortable stay. "
"Stayed here for 9 days last week during the Christmas markets. The hotel could not be better located as you literally walk out the front door and there is a market to your right and then a little bit further left is the historical market. The train station is a five minute walk away so that was also convenient as we were taking the train to several other cities.
The rooms are very small, but adequate. The only thing we didn’t like is there is no closet and no in room safe.
Breakfast is plentiful and lots of variety, but it’s incredibly crowded. You need to get there early or late otherwise you’ll stand in line to get a cappuccino. The front desk was lovely and very helpful. Would stay here again."
