Villa Senni is an eighteenth century house belonging to the Marquis Frescobaldi, recently renovated. It has been divided into six spacious apartments, which have retained their ancient architectural style. The Villa is immersed in the green valley of Mugello, near Florence, in a panoramic position that allows easy access to other major regional centers such as Siena, Lucca, Pisa. They are also possible rail links starting from the Borgo San Lorenzo station. Comfortably furnished with period furniture. The property is surrounded by a beautiful park with trees of about 10.000sqm equipped with barbecue and tables for outdoor dining. Wi-Fi. The apartments share between them a private parking, a swimming pool in style board with stone opening hours from 9.00am to 7.30pm (7m. x 15m. prof. 150cm.) and a room for the laundry equipped with washing machines for a fee. Each apartment is equipped with satellite TV and on request you can add an extra bed, which will be paid upon arrival.

Disappointed
Having stayed recently we hate to say we were rather disappointed. The apartment is generally rather tired and in need of a refurb. The kitchen in particular is very badly appointed with only 2 plug sockets, an ancient toaster (it would be quicker placing the bread on the windowsill!) we had to ask for a kettle (in fairness this was provided straight away)
The apartment was huge, but only 1 freestanding fan (Marzia was fab and managed to source one more for us) but for a 3 bed apartment without ceiling fans we would really expect at least a fan per bedroom as a minimum. The electric sockets are also somewhat dodgy - many only work if the lights are kept on!
The adjacent restaurant (run by the same company) is hideously expensive - we only paid for drinks outside but still had an €18 cover charge for sitting there!

superbes vacances en famille!
Nous étions à la campagne, dans un grand domaine divisé en plusieurs appartements, le notre était vaste (170m2) et bien frais étant donné la canicule extérieure. Le mobilier était rustique et historique mais tout y était, si ce n'est le lave vaisselle! La piscine était très bien entretenue, toujours libre. Il faut 3/4 d'heure pour rejoindre Florence en voiture, mais tout le nécessaire était à Scarperia et Borgo San Lorenzo, sites historiques, marchés, magasins.Le circuit de moto du Mugello est à 3 km, pour les passionnés!
