"Calm & comfortable spaces. The mattress was so good, we went home and bought the same kind!I was concerned about the street parking but there were multiple spaces right across the street. Watch the signs for the street cleaning times & snow days. "

"Phenomenal hotel!! From the moment I walked in my room, I knew that this would be preferred choice for my next Chicago area visit. Great staff, especially the restaurant staff!! Beautiful property. Close to everything, including train!! Only cons: If you book through a 3rd party app (Expedia), let them know immediately or wake up to daily charges. Also, the $50 early check in fee... if my room is already ready, I don't understand the fee. Other than that, you'll have no regrets with The GEM of Evanston!!!"
