"One of the most memorable stays I have ever experienced. Right on the beach overlooking dreamy dunes and the ocean. Incredible pool and water area. Spacious clean rooms with doors that ipen to balconies and the best view you could wish for. I hope I get to go back someday. What a cool way to truly experience the vibe of the area."

"Room was clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a fan as the room was warm. When I alerted staff that my room was out of shampoo and body wash, it was refilled immediately. The breakfast could have been better. We ended up not eating there. I've been all over Europe where the hotel breakfasts are top notch. You just don't get that in the States. Other than that, this place is well worth the price. It's conveniently located within walking distance to Old Town, which is charming. I highly recommend. This was our second time staying here and we will again"

"It was a lovely cabin set amongst tall trees by a quiet lake. You feel like you're in a cabin out in the country in a Hallmark movie, but you make hear kids laughing and playing in the lake and are just a few minutes from all the conviences of the local town of Ferndale.The cabin is well organized with everything you'd need and everything is well labeled and documented. The owner, Joan, went out of her way to contact us when we left medical supplies in the refigerator, offering to overnight them and helping us find a solution. She was very thoughtful and only made us feel better about our whole wonderful experiance there."

"We really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return! The furnishings have a charming, classic feel, and the home was very clean and comfortable. The layout and amount of space was perfect for our group of two couples and two dogs. There was a generous supply of towels, linens, supplies and amenities, we never wanted for anything."

"I was a little nervous about this experience but it was great! Meet the owner & the doggy, both super friendly. Down a quite private street & glamper is also has nice privacy if you want to chill outside. Very nicely set up & bed was super comfy!! Big bonus points for that! Would recommend to others & would stay again!"

"This home is truly beautiful and relaxing. The view of the lake is unbeatable and the private dock allows for direct access to the water. The kitchen is fully stocked with equipment so that we could cook all our favorites while watching the incredible wildlife. The bedrooms are cozy and comfy and the living room has wonderful windows to view the steam rising off the lake in the morning. 5 stars for the property!! The directions on the portal were very clear and helpful as google maps has trouble locating the house. Also don’t forget to read about the latched gate as it will give you a scare if you don’t know about the clasp. Our only issue was communication. We arrived and the key to the bottom floor was missing. Despite numerous calls to various people (and multiple transfers) we never got access to the bottom floor. No one even called us back to tell us that they couldn’t make it out. This meant that one of us had to sleep on the couch for the whole trip. This felt like poor management. But overall we had a lovely time and would absolutely come back again!"
