Schist Villages Hotel Guide - Wedding Hotels in Schist Villages, Portugal

It was a very nice experience. The hotel have a greay view and are very confortable.

We had the best Balcony view of any Hotel stay in Portugal .The Hotel is perfectly positioned by the River in the Town. Hotel Staff are excellent with impeccable Customer Service. All public areas are clean & furnished wonderfully. Breakfast is excellent . The Bathroom was in need of refurbishment, it was very tired !! This is our 2nd stay & We would definitely stay again.

Everything was very good.

Melia Castelo Branco is a pleasant place, clean and nice atmosphere.

A pleasant surprise in this wonderful hotel: the old building is beautiful and renovated with a/c in the rooms, modern bathrooms and everything you need. The swimming pool was a blessing considering the heat. Delicious breakfast buffet. Internet in the common areas but not in the rooms. We didn't mind since we were there for the peace and quiet which this hotel is perfect for.

Great hotel for touring, south of Coimbra very comfortable, clean and great breakfast and dinner

Great service.

We come here often, it's one of our favorite getaway hotels. It has a great pool and garden, it benefits from a fantastic view and is close to nice natural river pools and walking trails. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good, Lunch and dinner are served on a beautiful outdoor terrace, but regrettably the food could be better, especially for the price, and there are no good restaurant options close by.

Wonderful hotel on the way to Compostela. We are an Australian couple & used to staying in 5+ Star hotels in Australia & Asia. Our meal in the restaurant was disappointing. The chef needs advice on how to prepare simple things like Minestrone that was more like a mushroom consommé. The octopus was gritty as if it hadn’t been washed properly & the lamb rack was raw & needed more cooking. The creme brûlée was not as smooth as it should be & the egg wasn’t incorporated properly. I’m a fussy...

We had a lovely stay. All staff were helpful and friendly, a big thanks to Ricardo that was amazing since we arrived and gave us tips of places to visit in the area. Overall we had a lovely stay, thanks.

Verry good. Excellent acomodation and very simpaty off all.

Great location with parking, room had everything to hand, including a pair of scales in the bathroom, first time I've weighed myself for months!

Lovely hotel with plenty of parking. Great views of Coimbra. Hotel a little dated but very comfortable. Food was excellent.
