Remember that in May and June of each year, the Greek theatre in Syracuse hosts the evocative classical plays with the staging of Greek tragedies. Also in the daytime, one can go to see Taormina, one of the best-known tourist towns in Sicily with its theatre set in a suggestive panorama from which one can admire the Ionian Sea and the volcano Etna. For trekking lovers, it is possible to book excursions to Europe's most important volcano. For those who want something more mundane, we remind you that from the nearby port of Pozzallo in about an hour and a half you will be in Malta, an island also famous for its casinos.
