"The room was spacious and well furnished. The fabric covered headboard made a real impact as you walked in. The bathroom was sparklingly clean. Real thought had gone into what makes guests feel at home and what utensils they would need to prepare food if necessary. The wine glasses were a nice touch! There was even a breakfast bar where you could sit and look out over the street. Plentiful supply of electric plugs (so useful when you have phones and iPads etc.) Check-in worked perfectly...

"We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchenette was really useful and there is a supermarket a few minutes walk away if you don’t want to go out for a meal. Access via code was really easy and there was plenty of parking close by. My messages were answered quickly and I was provided with all the information I needed in advance of our arrival. We will definitely be back next till we are in the area "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse: quiet bucolic location, handsome and spotless, well-maintained house, We stayed in the Tweed room which was spacious and had everything we needed (including an excellent high pressure shower!). Peter and Sheila were great hosts and cooked breakfast to order each day and made sure we had everything we needed. Would happily return!"

"I loved this opportunity to stay in Ingram, at the East entrance to the Northumberland National Park. This B&B is luxurious, quiet and lovely, with great food and atmosphere. There is easy access to beautiful walks in and above the Breamish Valley.
I would definitely stay here again."

"Good location, helpful friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Room looks nice but no window was a disappointment (skylight in roof but no view outside). Also this meant bathroom had very musty smell. Main issue we had was no hot water in the evening. We cycled to the hotel as part of a long distance cycling tour and then went on a boat trip to Holy Island which was quite cold and rainy so had been really looking forward to a hot shower. Reception were very apologetic and even gave me the key to another room to try that shower but it was also tepid. We paid £200 for the night so hot water should have been plentiful. I’m sure a room with a sea view and a hot shower and this place would be five star."
"From Wendy, Nicola and Jude on the front desk, who helped us so much with our car problems and extra nights to be arranged, to the bar and restaurant staff we say thank you for your care and courtesy. The cheerful cleaning staff and the thoes in the kitchens who supplied delicious food.
We loved our stay and will highly recommend this hotel to thoes looking for an upmarket venue with a great vibe."
"Just one night in the 2bed bungalow but thoroughly enjoyed our stay . The bungalow was clean and comfortable, the pub is great , the staff very helpful and friendly and very tasty breakfast"
The Bamburgh Castle Inn - The Inn Collection Group
10/10 Excellent
"The position of the hotel is super and we took advantage of the nearness to the harbour by taking 2 trips out round the the farce islands and visited holy island by boat too
The staff were very helpful and the parking facilities were limited but we were lucky to find a space and the car stayed put for the 3 days we were there
The breakfast was excellent with good choice of hot or cold and gave you a good start to the day and the evening meals were varied and good quality
Fortunately the weather was also excellent and we really did enjoy our trip to the north east"
"Our room was clean, tidy and nicely decorated..
We stayed for two nights whilst visiting the surrounding area..
The Purdy Inn is part of the service station on the A1 and although it was on the main road we hardly heard the traffic when in our room.
Slept well the beds were good for us .
The breakfasts were lovely..and the cafe attached to the Purdy Inn offered a good range of refreshments 24hrs .
The staff were really lovely and welcoming both in the Inn and the service station cafe..there was a nice mixture of ages ...We genuinely can't say anything negative about the staff . We had a lovely young man in the cafe of the service station help us with a dog walking area.
Then we had a lovely young lady who served us breakfast 17+ 18th of August .
Lovely lady at reception sorted us out with a shower mat.
Lovely dog friendly and welcoming Inn.
Thank you to all and well done"
"Great location right by station. Unfortunately no on site parking but station car park very close and you can use app to renew days parking from bed! Breakfast ok. Lively bar."
