The perfect home base whether you're working downtown, working remotely, or visiting Seattle for pure pleasure, this classic craftsman duplex places you right where you want to be. Gorgeous Green Lake - with its beautiful path and surrounding park - is two blocks around the corner. And the neighborhood's excellent restaurants, cafes, shops, and conveniences are within a short, scenic stroll.
This listing is for half of the duplex, which is accessed around back through the gate to the right side (please do not go to the main part of the house in front). As the lower level, the apartment opens to a fully fenced stone patio surrounded by flowering shrubs and fruit trees. It's a wonderful spot for morning coffee, alfresco dinners all summer, and everything in between.
Park your car on the street (no other parking is provided) and make yourself at home in this comfortable, well-lit space. The living space brings together a well-equipped kitchen with maple cabinetry, a dining area, and a living room with a smart TV. There's even a convertible standing desk with a monitor, where you can log onto the high-speed WiFi and catch up on email with ease. An inviting bedroom, an updated full bathroom, and a stacked washer/dryer are provided as well.

Property was easy to access, in a nice, quiet neighborhood, perfectly located for us to be near our daughter in Green Lake. Just the space we needed for the two of us, a comfortable bedroom, relaxing sitting room and good sized kitchen with plenty of cpuntrt space.

Peaceful Green Lake!
Only a block and a half away from Green Lake in a quiet neighborhood. Nice, private backyard patio. Very clean!
I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was clean, spacious for me and likely a plus one. The open layout was seamless and not forced. The kitchen is great! The whole house was very inviting and I truly enjoyed my visit. I will definitely try to come back next time I'm in Seattle.
A few recommendations:
1) mark the entrance to the space clearly and in the written instructions, clarify exactly where the entrance is (ie; enter through gate directly to the right, etc.)
2) Maybe include a few more cozy blankets and throw pillows (totally not a deal breaker!)
3) Leave clear instructions for the remotes, and leave a battery charger for them. I travel with one, but for travelers who had a long day and might want to sack out for an hour or two, this would be helpful.

Perfect location for staying in Seattle near Green Lake
Really loved how close this hidden gem is to Green Lake in a very quiet neighborhood. Excellent kitchen, bathroom and shared dining and living space. Nice outdoor sitting area. Highly recommended for anyone who is staying for a while.

There was no coffee and was told it wasn’t provided. The picture for the site is deceptive. It looks like a cute bungalow but is actually a garden apartment around the back. The tv lost internet connection and when I called customer service for VACASA I was told someone would get back to me shortly. Never received a call back.
We had a great stay in Seattle! This rental had all the basics we needed. The location is excellent. You can walk to plenty of restaurants, Green Lake, and the light rail is not too far away. The little courtyard was a nice spot for relaxing with morning coffee. We had trouble with the tv working properly (maybe a wi-fi issue?) but it wasn't a deal breaker for us. It was nice to have the standing desk for work and the ability to do laundry while we were there. Overall a good rental!

Check in was fine. Listing was misleading about how difficult it was to find street parking every day. It never said that street parking would be challenging and that weren’t any assigned parking spaces in front of or near the VRBO. Kitchen was pathetic. No salt and pepper; no oil and vinegar; No zip loc bags or aluminum foil; no corkscrew; no coffee except for one coffee filter with coffee inside; Not enough spoons and not enough silverware offered in general. There was a huge colander provided but only one large mixing bowl.8 am yard work people came by on Saturday and there was no announcement from the owner of the place that gardeners were coming to clean, sweep, etc. that day or at that hour. Lack of ventilation in the space except for one standing fan and a very small air purifier in the bedroom. The t.v. Was inoperable and no instructions on how to use it, log in, or whatever. I requested a box of Kleenex and more hand soap for the bathroom and was told by VACASA the company handling the space to buy it myself and that it wouldn’t be provided by the owner. I was upset and insulted by that as a box of Kleenex and more hand soap should be provided as a courtesy to the guests who are renting the space and not have to buy those supplies on their own. I was also insulted that I was responsible for doing a load of dishes in the dishwasher and a load of towels as laundry as I was checking out. I’ve never had to do that before in checking out of a rented space.
