SUPERB LOCATION, Ballard Locks, Seattle, Wa.

Second house on large lot on dead end street, 2 blocks north of the Ballard locks. 5 minute walk to the beach or walk to incredible Ballard nightlife and shopping and Ballard Farmer's market, the best in the City. Beautiful sunsets over the Puget Sound and Secret Beach a couple blocks away, where you can rent paddleboards and kayaks. Walk to legendary Ray's Boathouse. Private dedicated parking available behind garage off of the alley, or in front of house.

Large back yard for barbecue and lounging. Bikes available - 2 Las Vegas cruisers on property. Inflatable paddleboard available upon request of owner and available for rent at Surf Ballard at Secret Beach, a quick walk to the end of 57th Street, the next street.
Your house is located on the back of the lot with separate back entrance off of alley, or entrance through fenced side yard. You have your own kitchen and a deck overlooking the large back yard for fresh air, west facing, so you can see the sunsets. You are welcome to use the back yard to relax, stretch out, have a drink, or lounge in the hammock (summers only). Propane fire pit and patio heater and barbecue grill on patio. Dedicated Wi-Fi. Great Location

Great place and location!

This place allowed us to explore Ballard and the rest of Seattle with ease--and then to relax out on the deck and enjoy a great view when we got back. Would highly recommend!

Very nice accommodation. Clean, well appointed, warm, lots of towels and pretty much everything you need. Good location for me. My daughter lives in the nearby marina.

This cozy space has everything you might need for a comfortable and fun stay. In terms of location, we really enjoyed being able to walk to all kinds of neat places nearby. Would definitely come back to stay here!

Perfect location in Ballard

I used to live in this neighborhood within Ballard and had a wedding to attend nearby, so this was the perfect location to show my partner around. You’re walking distance to convenience/grocery stores, some of my favorite restaurants and bars, and a short bike or scooter ride to Golden Gardens.

Everything you need is there

It’s a great place to stay and the host were super kind. The patio and outdoor space is very nice and makes you want to sit outside all day. It’s a good location, close to the beach, downtown Ballard and has a bus stop close. We enjoyed our stay!!

Seattle visit

What a cute little place to stay! Tidy & well stocked with everything you could need & the host was very attentive & nice. (but not overly attentive)We especially enjoyed the lovely outdoor garden patio area to hang in. We too advantage of that quite a bit. Having off street parking was a real plus. If you are older, heavy set, & with slight mobility issues like us, this may not be the place for you. If not, then, we would definitely recommend this place.

100% a superb location. walk or bike in any direction for something to see or do. The VRBO was clean and lovely. I felt safe in the neighborhood. It was also obvious that the hosts put a lot of thought in making sure we had what we needed.

Great location and felt right at home

We had a wonderful stay. The location was ideal. We were close enough to downtown so we could easily go exploring but the house is in a nice quiet area away from all of the commotion. We were able to shop at the a nearby farmers market and have wonderful food on hand. We even got to attend the local Seafood Fest in downtown Ballard. We felt like locals. Thanks for everything .

Delightful Nest

My husband and I enjoyed everything about our stay. The two levels enabled him to make early morning coffee and hold zoom meetings downstairs while I was preparing for the day upstairs. A small deck upstairs with glider chairs overlooks the delightful patio below, and the chimney tops above, a welcoming respite at the end of day in the beautiful landscaping. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and very walkable to nearby eateries.

Sunset Hill Seattle

Good for two people. A great location with quiet backyard to relax. Parking is private and convenient. The bed is small for 2. Kitchen has all you need, but table space is minimal so it is good for breakfast. Walk easily to some restaurants and bike along the bike paths. We found the chairs from the balcony to be more comfortable than the couch . . .

Great spot near Ballard Locks

The property is clean, well appointed, and offers a convenient location for the Ballard area. The hosts have thought of everything to accommodate the traveler. One suggestion would be to leave instructions for the use of the Keurig coffee maker. It did not work sometimes. Overall, I highly recommend this rental.
