"As it was our first time in Agadir we didn't know what to expect.We had booked bed and breakfast so we could get out and about through the day and at night. The hotel chain.Barcelo,was familiar enough to us and seemed reasonably priced. We were greeted by a lovely lot of smiling welcoming faces at reception and the concierge service. unfortunately our room was not ready until near 4 pm so it was a bit if a wait. The room we had was ok. Comfy beds, Air Con not a thing when we were there not sure if it gets ramped up in hot weather? we were surprised to have been given all inclusive wrist bands.It was not mentioned it was an upgrade .We perhaps thought it an oversight? We did enjoy that part of things but generally we thought the food a bit same old same old? Not all food was hot at a buffet style restaurant area... we'd say the lunch seemed a little nicer than evening.Mist of the time was spent looking for cutlery and napkins! We had lunch out and had 4 evening meals outwith the hotel. it's not really an area with British pubs and restaurants so you still have to look about for the type of food you enjoy. Although looked like a few bars selling alcohol were close to the hotel all the music was more Arabic/Moroccan so it didn't really entice us to go in which was a bit disappointing ?Agadir isn't quite catering for Brits abroad just yet.The hotel entertainment was not something we tended to hang about for at night.Overall great to experience Agadir."

"Room was supposed to be a privilege room although looked nothing like picture was much smaller and balcony wall paint was coming off, air con did not work it just made the room hotter so had to sleep with patio door open all night. The pool bar was hardly ever staffed and a lot of people complained about this. In all bars drinks were served in paper cups, as never enough glasses left. There were never enough pool towels for people at the pool. Went to the spa which was not clean disgusting mould dripping from the roof into the heated pool. Food in Italian speciality restaurant was over cooked and dried out, Moroccan restaurant food was very bland. Main buffet was nice but repetitive. ended up with extremely bad stomach bug on last day which could have been down to the mould dripping in spa pool, or food who knows? The beach photos on the website bear no resemblance whatsoever to the sad row of beds on rocks with umbrellas propped up against the sea wall. When I queried with the staff in reception about the room we had received they were extremely rude and could not have cared less. All in all quite a disappointing experience and definitely would not rate 4 star as per Hotels . com website "

"Enjoyed the hotel. The pool was clean and large and never overcrowded and the gym had all the equipment you needed and always had a member of staff on and if you needed help. Our room was shabby; the shower leaked and flooded the bathroom - and we were told that occurred in all the rooms in our block. However it was large. As many have said the beds/pillows were hard - buy I don't mind that. I was really impressed with the food. Loads of choice and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. The Moroccan Night was amazing. Often in All Inclusive the wine is terrible but actually the Rose (which most people seemed to drink) was lovely. Staff overall were fantastic; always smiling and happy to help."
