The house was incredibly spacious and well laid out, with two large, comfortable bedrooms, a sparkling clean bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cozy sitting room — more than enough room for the whole family to relax and unwind. The location was perfect: easy to access, safe, and wonderfully family-friendly, with everything we needed just a short drive away. The home was thoughtfully stocked with all the amenities you could hope for — Wi-Fi, TV, washer, coffee machine, plush linens, fresh toiletries, and even soft robes that made it feel like a luxury stay. "Do yourself a favor by staying here on your next visit to Morbegno. From the wood ceilings to the blue tile in the bathroom, this place is a gem. The buiding was built in the 1400s and retains its charm, while being completely modern.It isn't clean, it's CLEAN. And then some.The couple who own it are friendly and attentive, but not obtrusive.The neighborhood is so authentic that it almost felt artificial- think Disney World Italyland. But then you notice the kids on their way to school, the shopkeepers and business people on their way to work, and you realize that they can't all be cast members.The neighborhood has a very safe feel to it. We saw women walking alone and unbothered from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.There are probably a dozen or more places to eat within a 10 minute walk.A couple of caveats: It's on floor 2 (American 3rd Floor) and there is no lift/elevator so a person who uses a wheelchair is very likely unable to access the unit. My spouse uses a cane and did not have any difficulty. Automobiles are not permited in the area and the nearest 24 hour free parking lot is about an 8 minute walk. There are additional free options a little farther away. The hosts also operate a pub on the ground floor. That sounds like it could be a problem, but it isnt- at least it wasn’t for us. The unit has heavy, old style shutters and modern insulated windows so we never heard a peep. It doesn't appear to attract a rowdy crowd at all. They also serve great pub grub. "

"quite a long walk from train station ( 1 km) no taxis! but pretty well the closest. bar is also reception (which was great as I was desperate for a beer after bus substituted for train! efficient small lift, comfortable room with large comfy bed & plenty of electric plugs. quiet in room despite it being a Saturday, although restaurant full with waiting list. great well priced Italian meal (despite being promoted as Sushi - which was available -after a fashion)! slept well. Owner opened breakfast early for me as I was booked on an early train which was greatly appreciated- thoroughly recommended "
