Upon arriving to the property, late at night the front door was unlocked, and remained so throughout our visit. The property is unmanned, with no member of staff seen on site. The room itself was clean and spacious. However, most of the hotel (which is an office conversion) is lacking in facilities, and those that are there are poorly maintained. There are a total of 2 toilets and 1 shower for the entire building (about 12 rooms, which can sleep up to 4). The tap on the bathroom sink was falling off it's fitting. As well as this, the shower room had multiple issues, the shower had no door, and the shower mat was therefore sodden constantly, the shower head did not have a wall attachment ( however if it was there, I'm sure it would be further drenching the floor). The kitchen was well-equipped for visitors staying, with glasses and mugs. However, the fridge was full of mouldy food from what I assume we're previous guests. The air conditioning system for the rooms is controlled by a panel in the hallway. However, this is not obvious, and this panel changes the aircon for all units on the floor, not just individual rooms. Not that you would notice, because the air-con did not cool the room in the slightest, and was very outdated. It was cooler in the hallway in the morning. It is also worth noting that because the front door is unlocked, all communal areas (kitchen, toilet, and shower) are able to be accessed by anyone walking past. I would not recommend staying here.

An excellent hotel in an excellent location. A few things of note: - We had a superior atrium room, the bathroom is not totally separate from the room itself - the sink and vanity are in the room and the shower and toilet are in separate cubicles which open into the room. This was slightly awkward as we were travelling as friends but we managed to work around it. - Staff were friendly but could have been more efficient. Had to wait almost two hours for a towel after housekeeping forgot to leave one. - Breakfast is expensive, there are plenty places nearby where you can get a cheaper breakfast (Mlinar bakery is 5 mins walk away). All in all though I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again if returning to Ljubljana.
