This property was great, and as described. The cottage was spacious, clean, and very well-outfitted, with a wonderful kitchen and very comfortable beds and linens. It's a quiet little Lake, and we enjoyed swimming, fishing, and kayaking. The owner answered our few questions promptly. Super easy to find and made a good base to explore the area.
My husband, I and our dog. Had a lovely relaxing time. The cottage was one of the best we have rented. The views of the lake were beautiful. We went swimming, spent some time in Parry Sound as well.
We spend a week in this wonderful cottage and we will definitely come back here again!
A wonderful place for those who love silence and nature.
Everything was great - a clean tidy cottage, a beautiful lake, only 10 min. from Parry Sound( where is so many attractions, grocery stores(Sobey's,Walmart, Nofrills) and quite close to the trails ( for those who loves hiking).
We will definitely come back here !!!
We definitely would stay here again. This cottage is cozy, on a quiet lake and for us the location was perfect, less than 10 minutes from Parry Sound. We took full advantage of the use of the kayaks in the morning. Just remember the bug spray, any where near water it’s a must.
Cottage had everything you might need. Kitchen was stocked with utensils and the bbq was brand new. Beautiful view of the lake with privacy. Kids loved the kayak. Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate. Rick was responsive and easy to work with.
This cottage was absolutely perfect for our family and our dogs. It had everything we needed—and more! The movie collection was fantastic, the outdoor space was beautiful, and the water was warm and clean. The surrounding area is peaceful and quiet, making it a truly relaxing getaway. We highly recommend this place to other families and pet owners looking for a serene escape. We cannot wait to come back!
Really amazing host. Was very responsive to all inquiries. The place was clean and inviting as soon as you walked in. Great view of the lake. Had many amenities to use. And an amazing wrap around balcony
Checkin was easy and Richard was quick to respond to any questions. Beautiful plot of land and great ammenities - there was ample drinking water provided and a vast collection of DVD's. The weather was largely excellent during our stay and we were pleased to enjoy the water with some floaties. The kitchen was very well laid out and contained a great supply of equipement.
Lovely spot! Spent Friday to Monday, 5 adult family members. Very clean, comfortable. Well appointed kitchen in case you feel like cooking. Great deck for relaxing. Small lake, very private & secluded! Nice little beach, it would be perfect for small children. We had a blast playing with the kayaks & paddle boat. Parry Sound is a short drive away for restaurants, groceries...Highly recommend!

First impression driving in - good!
Too much crapp on lake front like dog poop & alot of goose poop!
Owners need more attention on cleaning up before customers arrive.
Deck rail could be more secure. seemed alittle loose.
Water flow very poor in shower - infact dangerous for children when showering.
good beds except light did not work in Bedroom near kitchen.
Generally ok
The lake was beautiful and quiet, the cottage was lovely and as described. The only two downfalls were the lake is shallow and there was no dock jumping, so the older kids missed that, but it was great for swimming as there are no motorized boats on this lake. The water pressure was not great, but should not be a deciding factor on this lovely cottage.
We enjoyed the cottage, the location and the lake. The beach is a bit slimy so it’s hard to wade in but once you get into the deep water the swimming is fabulous. Lots of geese.
The cottage is set on a beautiful lake front property; the pictures don’t quite do it justice. The cottage itself is cute and clean. We enjoyed the selection of games during an unfortunate afternoon rainstorm. They have a great selection of great reading chairs and loungers for lazy days and enjoying the sun. My nephew (3) loved the water, the kayak and the swim toys provided. The property is so close to town and other nearby provincial parks for day trips. We would certainly recommend.
