Charming 3-bedroom home with WiFi, AC in delightful Kooskia

"An absolute gem of a cabin! It was super clean, and the incredibly comfortable beds let us get some much-needed sleep. I work a high-stress job, and this was the perfect place to unwind and slow down. Sitting on the patio with a cup of tea watching the ducks float by each morning and evening was pure bliss. My husband and I first discovered Kooskia on our honeymoon 36 years ago, and we are so thankful we found this cabin on our latest trip back. We will definitely be renting again!"
Reflections Inn

"Reflections Inn was in a very lovely forested area acrosss the highway from the river. The grounds were beautifully maintained with a large nicely mowed lawn flanking the drive up to the lodge. Each room had a table and chairs outside for enjoying the evening or morning; whatever your preference. Our room had a very comfortable king sized bed, nicely appointed bathroom with everything you might need: hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap, and plenty of towels. Our coffee area had coffee, tea, suger and creamers but no cups. We had cups in the car so that was a very minor thing. The other guests were friendly and helpful, we were there with firefighters from Alabama. Our stay was so enjoyable and relaxing, I would have been happy to stay longer."

"This was the cutest cabin in a beautiful setting that is super clean. The host, Tina thought of everything you might need for your stay and stocked it full. Which was so nice considering we were packing light on bikes! There are games and snacks, plenty of coffee and even popcorn and oatmeal! Not to mention plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, toiletries and even medicines which ended up helping me out alot as I ended up breaking my foot on my motorcycle! I contacted Tina and asked if we could book another night last minute at 9pm because Grangeville was all sold out of hotels when we got out of the ER! She even brought ice packs to to the freezer before we got there! The beds are so comfortable, so clean if you are coming to the kooskia area this is the place to stay!"
Elk City Escape - Amazing Views, Elk, & Wildlife

"What a view!! If you want seclusion in a well-appointed mountain cabin, then this is the place. Sitting atop a hill with wonderful views of pastures and mountains to the West. There is a small pond where we watched herons and whitetail deer just below the cabin. Plenty of comfy sleeping space and a bathroom/shower upstairs and down to accommodate several folks. And if you want it, the WiFi is excellent! There is a great little store 5 minutes away in Elk City. And lots and lots of good fishing for Cutthroat trout in SF of the Clearwater, Crooked River, Red River, American River and Newsome Creek, all of which are in the neighborhood. It takes a bit of effort to get there as it's 50 miles up a canyon - but that's probably exactly what you what if you're looking around in this area. Easy in and easy out and the host gets right back to you."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place is charmingly decorated and wonderfully cozy. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we slept great every night. The kitchen is thoughtfully set up with everything you could need, which made preparing meals easy and convenient. Our hosts were kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again!"

"The Sanctuary was one of the best stays we have had. The kitchen was so well stocked with oil and spices of all kinds (including some special ones recommended by the host). The dishware, utensils, pot & pans were all in abundance making any meal possible (including a pizza stone). The view of the river did not disappoint from both inside the house and out. The Adirondack chairs on the river bank were perfect for relaxing and enjoying what nature offers. The yard was large enough for our dog to enjoy herself as well. Very clean home with modern amenities. An absolute gem."
