Malta Marriott Resort & Spa

Malta Marriott Resort & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed as a family of four in a double room with a sea view and had a really enjoyable stay. The hotel is lovely, clean and well maintained, and its location in a quieter area was a real bonus. It was also very easy to get into both St Julian’s and Valletta, either by walking or using the bus. Our room was a decent size and the hotel has three pools, giving plenty of options for relaxing. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating, which really added to the experience. The food at the hotel was good, and we also tried Atrio and Oxa, both of which were very good. The staff were attentive and the service was excellent. There are also plenty of lovely restaurants within easy reach of the hotel. Having access to the M Club was another great benefit, particularly for the snacks and pre-dinner drinks. It was a lovely place to relax before heading out for the evening. There were a couple of minor issues. Privacy when changing in the room was a little limited for a family of four, although this would certainly not put us off returning. We also experienced an issue with the air conditioning on our floor during our stay, but the maintenance team were already working to resolve it. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. A lovely hotel, excellent staff, great facilities and a very good location. We would happily return."

1926 Le Soleil Hotel & SPA

1926 Le Soleil Hotel & SPA

8/10 Good
"It is a solid 4* hotel. The only issue is with the room. The curtains make it impossible to sleep in. Too much light coming in. In the peak summer months this is a problem as the sun is up at 6am. Also the air conditioning shuts down when you leave the room so the room gets warm during the day if you leave to wander around town. The hallways on the 11th are also not air conditioned (our room was on the 11th floor). Their sister property (Le Bains) is where the hotel pool is at. Great little poo. The property is a true one stop shop. Great concept. They have their own beach club (La Plage), beach restaurant (La Vie), hotel restaurant le GV (Michelin guide 2026). I highly recommend booking le GV for brunch. The food was a real treat. The service impeccable. Overall a definite great choice. Location was amazing."

Ramla Bay Resort

Ramla Bay Resort

10/10 Excellent
"One of the best resorts I’ve stayed in. It’s big and even though it’s busy it doesn’t feel crowded. The little beach is a massive plus as the island doesn’t have many. Food is excellent! Every day different dishes. Two restaurants to go to. 3 swimming pools and an inside one with cold unsalted water. Bus stop 5 min from hotel. Water activities jetty even less. Every room has a balcony. It’s worth paying extra for the sea view one as it’s beautiful overlooking the pools and the sea. We were given a half sea view initially but after talking to the staff they’ve kindly changed our room to the full sea view. My only gripe is no free water given with dinner. Water is a basic human necessity and should be provided for free at meal times. Loved the place and would happily come back."
