This is my second time staying at this hotel. I love the location of this hotel, because it’s only steps away from the main shopping strip but it’s way less busy and more quiet. However, compared to last year, I found the hotel is not as clean as it was last time, there’s some obvious wear and tear, with some stains on the wall. There’s also a bad plumbing smell in the basement laundry area. Other than that, my kids loved the human-less front desk and the robot that delivery extra towel to us everyday. The breakfast was good with good variety and friendly staff.

Henna Hotel is well located for firet time tourist! Myeongdong can be crowded and lively at night but Henna is located on the far end of the area so its quiet at night

Not a bad stay

The location and soundproofing was good. There were some slight issues with cleanliness as we found old contact lenses on the carpet which was a bit gross. Also we did try to get extra pillows but was told there were none available as the hotel was full.

Convenient

When check in no reception you need to do self check in. Robotic receptionist welcome you so high tech. Room very tiny for 2 persons as you can’t open up the luggage. Bed very comfortable. Location very good, near airport limousine bus stop.

Fun stunt, clean & basic - great location

I think most people book this hotel due to the reception. Yes, it's funny with the robots and the dinosaurs. Just be aware that you do not communicate with the robots, but just use a check-in counter. The rooms are clean and fine, but very "IKEA basic". We didn't expect more; what you see at Hotels.com, is what you get. There was a coffee maker and a fridge. The location is great. Breakfast is okay. We enjoyed our stay and were satisfied. But if you are just there to sleep, and you are on a budget, you might find cheaper solutions just next to this hotel.

We were in a really good location for shopping and the night market was right up the street. It was a short walk to the bus lines that got us around the city to see everything we wanted to see. It was a quiet and clean hotel. The robot part of the hotel was very cool and one friends and family have loved the shots we took from inside the hotel and the surrounding area. The highlight though was the helpful and courteous staff. We had a couple of issues with our schedule, my fault not theirs, and they went above and beyond to help us through them. I really appreciated how nice everyone was and how much they helped. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Seoul.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location. There are a number of shops and market style carts during the evening along the streets near the hotel. Transport including subways are excellent for those venturing out to outer suburbs. The hotel great location compensates for the size of the rooms.
