The hotel is conveniently located among a bunch of shops and restaurants so it was easy for us to explore Hongdae! The room is on the smaller end but still felt spacious and was well kept.

It is a clean hotel located in a very convenient location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was kinda small, nothing fancy but there was enough room for two people and clean. Also, I like the fact that the floor was not a carpet. Locations wise, it cannot get any better than this hotel....busy hongdae street right outside the hotel entrance and a convenience store right near the entrance... yet there was no louse noise at night to disturb our sleep. I highly recommnend this place

The front office staff was awesome. Met few of them at different timings and all were very helpful and friendly. Room was nice with a small triangular balcony. Love the pillow and blanket! Super comfy. Hotel is in the midst of Hongdae which plenty of shops and eateries. The only downside is probably the bathroom which i find abit inconvenience to have your basin, flask, coffee all in 1 area. Otherwise, all good.

This hotel is such a perfect spot and convenient. The train station felt like a 3 to 5 min walk. The places to shop and eat is just right out of the hotel and very close. I would stay here again if I come back. I like that it also has a currency exchange when needed in the hotel and there is also a weighing scale by the lobby to check for your luggages. Our flight was going to be later that night and I like that you can leave your luggages for free as well while you take time to still explore around instead of doing luggage lockers. The staff are very hospitable and helpful when you need assistance. I highly recommend this place.

The Mercure was a stellar hotel experience for us. The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms luxurious, and the staff was extremely empathetic and accommodating to a unique circumstance that arose during our stay. Perfect stay
We had a perfect experience at the hotel and will absolutely come back to stay the next time we're in Seoul. The room was really comfortable, quiet and well equipped with everything we needed. The day we checked in, the hotel was doing planned maintenance for a couple of days so we had some issues with very loud noises coming from the bathroom sink drain. The hotel immediately sent up an engineer and it was fixed in 5 minutes. All the staff we encountered were incredibly helpful, kind and friendly. They even supported us when we both fell sick and needed a pharmacy and were extremely kind. It's located perfectly for all the highlights of Hongdae (2 mins walk from the main street) and the metro station (1 min walk to exit/entrance 9) so we never struggled to find anything to do or eat.

Convenient location. Property showing signs of wear and tear despite being a newer hotel. Mouldy basin and I can imagine dirt / water collected in the gap around the bath tub. Limited space to hang clothes / towel.

Comfortable stay
The room and toilet is clean. Bed is really comfortable. The staff left drinking water for us daily. Location is unbeatable, it’s just beside the subway station (which has an airport line) and the airport bus also stops just outside the hotel. Whilst room is on the small size, it was sufficient for 2 adults. Won’t recommend for families with young children though

We really enjoyed this property, especially the location. Basically right on Hongdae street! We originally were only staying here for 2 nights and moving to a different location..but we loved Hongdae so much we cancelled our other hotel and finished our trip here..so ended up being at this hotel for 5 nights. Everything was great from the hotel staff, location etc. the only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is because the bed and pillows were not comfortable. In my opinion. But the location and area won us over.

Walking distance to Hongik University subway Station Exit 9. Take Exit 8 with elevator if you have luggage. Very convenient from Incheon Airport. A lot of restaurant downstairs. Hotel is in good condition. Breakfast is simple but of good quality. Room is nice and in good size. OK for two big luggage. Very cozy place to relax after a long day of shopping.
