Me and my friend stayed here for 4 nights and we had an excellent time. The staff were all so nice and friendly and very accommodating. The hotel was near the stairs to subway station so you don’t have to walk long in the cold especially during winter. There was a convenience store nearby. The hotel staff was helpful and the best part for me was the weighing scale by the elevators to weigh our luggage. That was really helpful for us to decide whether or not we need to add baggage allowance.

Travelodge Dongdaemun was clean, efficient, well located near major attractions in Seoul with close proximity to public transport, restaurants, and shops nearby. The room was quite small; however, it fit our purpose for sleep, shower, and kept our belongings secure - this is not a hotel if you like to spread out! If I had to pick one issue, it was shower water pressure and heat-up, which took fair amount of time on the 9th FL - otherwise, no complaints about this hotel and found the prices quite reasonable for an overall expensive major world city like Seoul. While not my first choice, I would definitely consider another stay.

Good place to spend a few nights

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Bedroom is quite small, but bed was comfortable and the room had all basic amenities. Great view of the city skyline. Good place to book if you will spend most of the time outside. I found the breakfast a bit pricey for what they offer.

The hotel is in a good environment and is comfortable to stay in. I always use this hotel when I stay in Dongdaemun. Room cleaning is done once every three days, so I would be happy if they could do it a little more often.

Great location and friendly staff comfortable stay

We had a very nice stay at this hotel for a couple of nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious enough for our needs. The location was perfect, just a 5 minute walk from the subway, with plenty of convenience stores and bus stops nearby. The only minor issue was that one small USB port didn’t work, but it didn’t affect our stay at all since everything else worked perfectly. Overall, a great experience!
