"Loved the rustic feel and available kitchen and free laundry. Boyfriend ran a youth hostel for many years and felt the same vibe. Outdoor furniture needed to be cleaned but recent weather may have been big contributor. Room was very comfortable and clean. I would return. "

"Location and service are the best. It's a stones throw away from the entrance to Sequoia Nat'l Park and a full bar is great to return to after a day of hiking. The staff go out of their way to be helpful, and restaurant breakfast and dinner were pretty good! The view over the river from the restaurant was nice. Only complaints were that previous guests left half eaten food in our dresser and a used washcloth that had not been cleaned out before we checked in, and the rooms are a little...
