"10 moons is fantastic. The hotel picked us up at the ferry drop off by long tail boat and took us directly to the hotel. The food is amazing and priced similarly to what I purchased on the island. The staff are absolutely top notch, they know your name and what you typically order and basically have it waiting for you at breakfast time. Snorkeling and kayaking is great right off of their beautiful beach. It rained hard every day we were there so we didn’t have a lot of opportunities to try the island activities but we enjoyed resting and reading. The owner’s Jose and Pen are really delightful. We cannot recommend this hotel more highly and we look forward to a return in the future!"

"A taste of paradise. Loved our time here. Terrific restaurant on the property overlooking the turquoise waters with the friendliest staff. I hope we can make it back again soon. If you can, try to get your open water scuba certification on the island. Ten minute walk on the beach to the scuba business with also the amazing sunrise yoga with Keiritas Yoga - the best yoga on the island. "

"After my previous check-out, I was immediately welcomed with an early check-in at 11 am, a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the day. Adding to the charm was a complimentary tuk-tuk ride that whisked me further up into the neighborhood, showcasing the resort’s unique local approach right from the start. The entrance, demure yet inviting, immediately set the mood. A warm welcome from a delightful couple made me feel truly at home. I was effortlessly ushered through the check-in process by the ever-efficient Ms. Aum, who swiftly snapped a copy of my passport. Before I knew it, Mr. Ton, the ever-attentive concierge, was already waiting with my carry-on bags, ensuring that every need was anticipated and met. Strolling down through lush greens, I arrived at pool villa 6—a space that epitomizes rustic chic. Every little detail was meticulously curated, reflecting a harmonious blend of tropical elegance and simplicity. This enchanting villa served as the perfect backdrop for my “White Lotus”-inspired birthday getaway. Villa 6 aptly named “Jumpa” (Malay for “See You”), the villa felt like a heartfelt invitation to return, encapsulating the true spirit of serendipity."

However, the absolute highlight was dinner on the beach at night in the hotel's restaurant...beautiful ambiance and some of the best food we have had in Thailand!"

"Cabins were clean and tidy on arrival, the staff were also super helpful, probably the best service we received in Thailand. The cafe on the beachfront was really nice, proper tasty food and drinks. Great location, 5 minute walk to Walking street and right on the beach. When we booked this initially our thought was ‘how bad can it be without AC’ for a few nights. For us, it was a bit unbearable, really struggled to sleep while we were here, I can’t hold that against Castaways as we knew before we booked but it’s something you need to consider. On the final day there was a whole bunch of ants that had invaded toilet and I woke up covered in bites that weren’t from mosquitos, not sure what they were but wasn’t very nice. After noticing the bites we took the bed covers up to check for bed bugs and it was kinda gross, not sure how often they change the mattress topper sheet underneath. "
