"Anantya Serengeti is set in a truly unique and privileged location in the heart of the Serengeti, offering an unforgettable, fully immersive experience where wildlife can be seen right around you during your stay. It felt like stepping into nature in the most extraordinary way.
The cabin was absolutely beautiful—spacious, modern, and extremely comfortable, with everything you could need and more. It easily matches or surpasses many luxury hotels in comfort and design. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, making it feel both cozy and high-end at the same time.
The dining experience was exceptional. Every meal—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was of outstanding quality, comparable to a fine dining restaurant. Each dish was well prepared, fresh, and consistently delicious.
What truly made this stay unforgettable was the service. From arrival to departure, everything was handled with genuine care and attention. Every staff member was warm and professional, but Paulo truly stood out. He personally took care of everything during our stay—welcoming us, assisting with our laundry, serving as our bartender and waiter, and even coordinating our movements to and from the cabin with the Maasai. His level of dedication and kindness was beyond exceptional, and he made us feel completely cared for at all times. Any company would be lucky to have someone like him.
Overall, the experience was magical!"
"Amazing don't actually capture how wonderfully this place is. My room was very spacious and clean. It had all the amenities you will find on a luxurious hotel in a big city. The lodge is perched on a hillside overlooking a huge and gorgeous valley. I can lounge on my patio seats all day looking at the valley. Breakfast needs a bit of improvement, but lunch and dinner offerings were quite delicious. Those guys will feed you to death if you let them. I definitely recommends this wonderfully retreat."
"Unfortunately, our experience with this place started off as a nightmare. We emailed them more than 45 days in advance to confirm payment of the park fees for two people and received no response. As our arrival date got closer, we had to repeatedly email and call just to get basic information. When we tried to confirm airport pickup, the staff became overly aggressive about selling us their game drive package. We clearly explained that we already had some activities booked and would decide after arriving, but they refused to budge. It felt as though if we didn’t book their game drive, we would not receive airport transportation. Their main focus seemed to be getting money rather than providing service.
We were repeatedly told that card payments “didn’t work” and that only cash was accepted, which raised serious concerns. We were nearly charged for the same things twice, so please be very careful. The main individuals involved in these issues were Emmanuel and Patrick. I was forced to wire money for park fees, transportation, and airport pickup. Despite tipping, the service noticeably declined after our stay, especially when it came to attitudes around tips.
On a positive note, the manager, Ajy, was very helpful. When I called him about an hour before landing, he stepped in and ensured we at least had transportation to the hotel, which we truly appreciated. The food was good, and the chef was very accommodating with my husband’s dietary preferences."
"My stay was OK, but nobody from the hotel advised how to enter Serengeti Park via flight, while fees to be paid in the hotel - I was stuck at Serengeti airport for 3 hours"
"Excellent stay. Mosses and the entire Melia Serengeti staff were nice, friendly, accommodating and warm. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt like home during our stay. Would recommend staying here. :)"
