Cozy Cabin Near Pigeon Forge

The Highlands is a rustic, pet-friendly cabin located about 5 miles from the heart of Pigeon Forge. It sleeps 2 and has an enclosed back deck with a hot-tub and plenty of seating for entertaining. There is NO grill at this cabin. The couch has 2 recliners, and there is also a separate recliner. There are 7 steps down to the front porch from where you park.

Our cabin is located 5 miles from the Pigeon Forge strip at traffic light #3 (Wears Valley Road). It is in the Hidden Mountain WEST area. It is a rustic cabin, which offers a roomy hot tub on an enclosed back porch. It has a big screen TV, dvd player and plenty of movies, games and magazines. Our cabin is NOT located high on a mountain and all the roads leading to the cabin are paved. The last 100 feet to the cabin, is a slight incline. We have a fully stocked kitchen, and your furry babies are always welcome.

If you want to get away with your partner then this is the cutest/romantic cabin. So cozy and clean. We had the nicest stay. Owners were great and we had no problems. We will be back!

Loved the cabin. Definitely follow directions given by the owner. GPS does not work at all. Backporch was the best. Very quiet area.The only thing that could have made it better was the outside porches hadnt been cleaned, but not a big deal.Would rent again

Great Stay at the Highlands!

Loved the cabin! Great stay for us to get away before the holidays. Clean, cozy. Wife loved the tub! Close to town, but far enough away from the madness of Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Go eat at the Apple Barn! Will certainly book again!

This cabin was great. It is far enough away that you feel like you're in the mountains, but are still minutes away from the attractions. The accommodations were awesome, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Pigeon forge vacation

The Highlands cabin was everything we hoped for . Close enough to easily access all attractions yet very rural and quiet neighborhood. Beautiful rustic cabin furnished with everything you might need plus extras ! Absolutely perfect getaway spot for two . Hope to be back !!

Romantic getaway

Came out to the mountains for a weekend romantic getaway. The cabin was perfect for me and my girlfriend. It was clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend coming to this cabin to anyone. Will most definitely come back.

We recently enjoyed a week long stay at the cabin called the Highlands, the cabin was in great shape and well equipped with everything you might need to enjoy yourself. the hot tub and jacuzzi were in good working order and cabin was clean. Perfect Weekend Getaway

My husband and I wanted to take a quick weekend trip for my birthday and found this adorable cabin. Perfect size for 2, quiet area and close to main strip in Pigeon Forge. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but in actuality you are very close to anything you could need. We will definitely be back again.

Romantic Cabin

Beautiful, romantic cabin! The hot tub on the screened in back porch is huge and works great. Fireplace in the bedroom was awesome. There was a cart with items in case we had forgotten anything which was a very thoughtful touch. Some reviews mentioned a barking dog but he was no issue for us. He seems older to me and he pops up every now and then if we walked to car or took our dog out. He didn’t just bark all night or anything like that so it just wasn’t an issue for us. Close to town, had everything we needed, romantic and pretty…would stay again!

Cozy space

Overall just as it’s listed. The amenities are excellent! Anything you could possibly need they have thought of. The hot tub came in handy after a long day of seeing the sights. I’d rate cleanliness slightly above average but nothing that bothered either one of us. The screened in back porch was a hit for us! We would stay again definitely!

Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. Everything we needed was already there. Bed was comfortable and easy to sleep in. Only complaint the Keurig coffee maker did not work. We went out and bought instant coffee. No harm.

Lovely cabin!

The cabin was the perfect fit for the two of us. Not far at all from the Parkway but quiet and peaceful. One thing though-try to first arrive before dark. The roads to the cabin are narrow with no lighting and the signs are a little hard to see. No problems during the day! Also, the parking is not level and a little tight. We made everything work though and had a wonderful time!

The Highlands

Beautiful cabin. Very Clean, well equipped. Within 15-20 minutes of attractions. Was not too hard to find, emailed the host and she called right away and stayed on the phone until we arrived at the cabin. We were actually at the right cabin once but didn’t think it had a key pad. (New technology). Great cabin for two. Would recommend and would rent again. Great place to get away from the busy Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge hustle bustle. ❤️❤️❤️

Great place!

This is an absolute wonderful cabin. Over the years I have stayed at many cabins in PF, but most recently they’ve become corporate and cold. This cabin had the wonderful touches that I love from VRBO and you can tell the owners are still hands on. We overpacked many items from previous experiences (pots, pans, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, etc) and it was so nice to see a cabin with anything you need during your stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and pans that are in good condition. The hot tub was wonderful after spending days at Dollywood. The only drawback is the puppy across the street was in a small pen and began barking at 7-730 each morning, but I think this will resolve itself as the dog was brought in while the neighbor was home (note: this is also outside of property owner’s control, it’s just a note to be prepared for it. Wasn’t bad, just annoying).

The stay was very nice. This was a nice cabin. I would not rate this a complete “5”, but rather a 4.8 or 4.9. A couple of things to easily push this to a “5”. One of the electrical receptacle on the left side of the bed did not work (I checked the breaker box and all breakers were on). Next, the recliner did not function properly, when it opened up, it was nearly impossible to close back up. Luckily, the couch reclined and was great. Lastly, the toilet was a “round toilet”. It would truly be much better as an elongated one. The coffee machine was great with all of the provided k-cups. The hot tub was also an added benefit that was enjoyed. We would seriously consider staying, again.

Great place!

We visit the area multiple times a year. We usually stay at the same cabin if it’s available but we usually have more people staying. Since it was mine and my husband’s 10th anniversary we came without our kids and didn’t need anything as big as we normally get. So glad we chose this place for our get away! The cabin was very clean compared to others we stayed at and the extras they had were great. I loved they had menus from some restaurants in the area. We ended up eating dinner at one of those places because of the menus and it was great! We were extremely excited about the fireplace in the bedroom. Upon arrival it didn’t work, not a big deal, we let them know and they were very apologetic about it and had someone come fix it! There were a few minor things we let them know about and I’m certain from talking to them they will have those things worked out in no time. If we are able to sneak away without the kids again, we will definitely book with them!
