Wilderness at the Smokies - Stone Hill Lodge

"The hotel itself was nice. We had an executive room with two queen Murphy beds a queen sofa sleeper and a king bed in its own room. T the Stone hill part of the property is separate from the rest of the property. The small kids pool was not open while we were there. Wilderness at the smokies has an indoor and outdoor water park that are included with your room. You have to drive down to them. They were great water parks. Soaky mountain is not part of the property and if you don’t get a package that explicitay includes it you have to pay $35 each for access to that park. We were fine with just the included parks."

"We found this place to be every bit as nice as the reviews we read. Very clean- even the stairwells were clean and had pictures hung! The room was very spacious and the balcony was so nice and faced the Apple orchard. The bed was a tad softer than what I like but that’s better than being too hard! Breakfast had hot items. Coffee was good! In the lobby they have hot spiced cider as well as other beverages. Pool areas were very nice as was fire pit however, we didn’t get to use them. We would definitely come back here. "

"This room was a real treat! Very nice and very clean! The river ran right behind our room, and we saw a resident beaver and a crane right from our balcony. The breakfast was included, with lots of options and very yummy. Very affordable and so nice for the price, I highly recommend! I gave 4 stars on the location only because you have to be ok with the roar of traffic in the background when outside as it sits on the main road (I tune it out because I'm from the city), but from the room, very quiet. Thank you, Clarion Inn!"

"This place could really use some updating. The slider in our room wouldn't lock and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in months. The paint was pealing throughout and the ceiling was really dirty. The positive note was the beds were comfortable and the sheets looked and smelled clean."
