The hosts were very responsive and accommodating however, the floors were filthy with dust, pet hair etc. our feet and socks were black. All the floors should be mopped after every checkout. The beds were comfortable, but the bedding was very cheap and the pillows were extremely flat. We had to go buy pillows for all the beds. The most disappointing thing was the Christmas decor. I had specifically asked because we were celebrating Christmas if the cabin would be decorated to which the host replied, "yes we hire a professional decorator to come in and bring the magic" if that is actually true then I would be demanding a complete refund from that professional decorator. It was obvious that it was decorated by the cleaning people, and there was one tree with one strand of lights and a few tacky decorations nothing outside, no wreaths on the doors no Christmas centerpieces on any tables and the fireplace mantle wasn't even decorated. The cabin was also drafty and you could stand back and literally see outside from the cracks in between the wood. The kitchen was semi adequately stocked, but they had wine glasses and no wine opener anywhere to be found so we also had to go by that. The dining room table is far too huge for the area that they have it crammed into. The living room furniture was comfortable. All in all the cabinets itself was very nice. It did look like a recent build, but it's the little things like decor and comfortable bedding that keeps people coming back.
