SOME NOTES ABOUT THE MOUNTAINS: - This is the mountains and cell service may be spotty - There may be some twisty roads - This is in the forests and mountains and you will likely see bugs, mice, or furry critters (maybe bears!). We do maintain the property with regular pest control, but due to the surroundings, or if doors are left open, or food is left outside the house, this can attract critters. - There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc.
- PLEASE NOTE: Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes.
- The cabin has well water and when first turning the hot water on it can have a slight sulfur smell. If present, this should go away after a minute or two and is typically just when you first turn it on the first day. After you start using the water regularly it goes away. Also, the water can sometimes come out a little brown, typically when flushing the toilets, etc. This is normal. The water is drinkable, but we still recommend using the filtered water from the fridge. - Cell phone service is very spotty in the area, so download the maps offline before arriving.
The community pool and fishing pond are run by a 3rd party and we have no control over closures, etc. that may occur. No refunds will be issued for closures of these amenities.
Fireplace is electric powered and is typically shut off between March/April and October/November.
Note: This is the mountains and WiFi and cell phone service can sometimes be spotty and lose service. If the internet does go out, try resetting the router first. We highly recommend you download maps of the area offline prior to arriving.

We had a great time staying at this beautiful home. Very clean, from the drive in on the property to the home itself. My Husband and I were appreciate of the quiet times in the area, a plus with kids and needing some rest. Kinda in the middle of all the fun things for families too.. Highly recommended!
For the price this property is OK. There is a general need for upkeep and updates - but an overall good experience. There are bears around the property so be mindful of that!
The cabin was beautiful and we were very comfortable during our stay. The host was responsive to any concerns or questions we had.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Our family met up in TN to spend a week at this cabin. We enjoyed listening and watching nature from the second deck. The home was very clean and had all the necessities to be able to enjoy a meal at the cabin.
My family absolutely loves the house. See the bears was an awesome experience for my family. GREAT
My family loved it. Had an issue with the drive way, but otherwise it was great. The host was amazing in response with any issues. Plus super nice. The kids loved seeing the cub and the theater room. It was extremely beautiful home. Slept great in the beds.
Went down with my wife and kids for a couple days. Cabin was great. Plenty of things to keep the kids entertained and the wife and I loved relaxing on the porch. Beautiful cabin. Highly recommend.
Great cabin conveniently located inbetween Cades Cove and Pigeon Forge
Our family of six really enjoyed our stay. It was nice being conveniently located near Cades Cove and Pigeon Forge. The hosts were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had during our stay. We highly recommend staying here!
The cabin was in a great location and we enjoyed our visit. Plenty of space, without being too big. We enjoyed having bedrooms on multiple levels for our group.
Picked this place because I wanted every part ofy wedding part (6 including myself) to have their own beds. Clean, kitchen is well stocked, hot tub worked great. Would recomend and would stay again.
This home was located in the perfect place. Home was clean and neat. Drive way is a little steep but easily driven if in low gear.
Owner was very responsive to all inquiries.
We would defiantly stay again.
Really enjoyed our trip. House and neighborhood were great. Driveway was no joke! Fireflies in the field at the bottom of the hill were an extra treat. We found ourselves visiting in the cabin versus doing sightseeing as we had so much fun just being together!
We do a family each year, we always love these trips. The cabin was in a great location. We had a great time.
One thing to keep in mind is the 28 steps getting to the main level. We were good with it, some elderly may not be. Overall, great experience, plenty of beds for 12.
6 adults/6 kids.
The cabin was very comfortable for the 10 of us, 5 adults and 5 children (ages 1 to 8). The grandbabies loved the wrapped around porch. Even though there were other cabins around us, we still had our privacy. We did get to see a momma bear and her 3 cubs. Be ready to climb somw steps though. If we do this again, we would entertain staying here again.
We stayed here for our fall break week. We enjoyed our stay. There are neighbors but still plenty of privacy. We loved the theater room and pool table. We had an issue while we were there and maintenance had to come out. The owners were amazing and very respectful of our privacy and keeping us updated. Will definitely consider this cabin or one of their other properties in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
We slept 12 here and had plenty of room. The 2nd floor wrap around balcony was perfect for safely viewing the many active bear in the area. We took bear spray, never needed it. Better safe than sorry. The drive can be tricky at the bend but a regular sized vehicle will have no problem. We had an extended length van we parked at the bottom of the drive. Not a bad walk up though. I would rent this again. Homey, comfortable, roomy, convenient to tourist areas.
The cabin was very comfortable and spacious! We were a group of 12 and didn’t feel like we were constantly bumping into each other. We loved how easy it was to communicate with the owners and how quickly they responded. The address sign was difficult to see and this is definitely made for more of a 4WD car, but it’s still manageable. We definitely had great experience! I will say, if you get up to drink coffee on the porch by where you park, be careful! We had a bear encounter our 2nd morning there. It was exciting, but also a little scary. We will definitely be renting this cabin again in the future!
