"The inside of the house was clean. The outside could use some sprucing up. The grass was overgrown and the outside furniture was in rough shape and overturned. The description of the property advertises a shower/tub in the downstairs bathroom. This is not accurate. The downstairs tub had a handheld sprayer. There was no curtain rod or shower curtain . I do not consider this a shower. Because of this set up, the four of us had to shower upstairs. When we arrived we followed the instructions and turned on the heat which also controls the water heater. The heat remained on the entire time during our stay. We had to stagger taking showers. Two of us showered in the evening, two in the morning. Unfortunately the second person would end up with cold water. The heat was on the entire time. There was another guest who had a similar complaint in a previous review so I am guessing this is an ongoing issue. I explained this to Jeremy and he just asked if the heat was on. Additionally the 2nd night of our stay the internet was freezing up and going in and out. My son had some online College classes he had to complete assignments for and was unable to due to this issue. We decided to leave a day early because of the issues. I did request a refund for the one night which we did not get. I have used VRBO many times and I can say this is the first time I was disappointed in a property."

"On arrival the guy at the desk was pleasant but that's where this stops.. Stairs up to the room are narrow making it difficult carrying bags etc up. Flooring in hallways, laminate all disconnected, in the room, Velux window didn't seal correctly so huge amounts of cold and wind noise coming in. Room smelt weird and then I found a mouldy ham packet on top of the wardrobe along with discarded spirits bottles. Unable to turn heating on as thermostat broken- heating did come on around 11pm but couldn't then regulate. probably one of the worst nights sleeps I've had in a long time and would NOT recommend this to anyone!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was immaculate and Mariza was a perfect host, even providing milk and freshly baked bread, butter and jam, home baked cakes and biscuits, totally above and beyond. There were lots of recommendations from our host on where to go and what to see and where to eat out which was extremely helpful.We were able to do our laundry during the stay."

"The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful, from check in, to breakfast serving, to check out. Each person was happy and smiling during my stay. Room was clean and tidy, with all the usuals you would expect (ironing facilities, hairdryer, toiletries etc). Will stay there again if in the area."

"This was a wonderful property. One of the best we can recall particularly for the price. Usually the photos are misleading in the case it was the opposite. It’s a wonderful open property with horses and sheep and rabbit on a beautiful tree lined driveway entrance.Martha was very gracious and were very grateful we had the opportunity to stay there."
