Blossom House Shanghai On The Bund

8/10 Good

"Room was very nice and the free first round of the minibar was a pleasant surprise. You couldn't fault the location for access to the Bund and the metro and the Yuyuan ancient street. Breakfast buffet was excellent - pastries not great (but that is true all over China). The main issue was that the 2 lifts are inadequate for the size of the hotel and they are slow. It's a shame but the queues for the lift at the end of breakfast and at check-in/check-out times are enough to drop this from a 5 to 4 star review."

10/10 Excellent

"First of all, hotel staff were superb from reception to cleaning service. Lots of places to eat some hidden in department stores. We checked out at least two social media raved about restaurants which were nearby (walkable) and they lived up to their hype! We also made use of the metro which is also nearby. In summary, would stay at this hotel again."

"The location of the property is excellent with 3 subway lines just at footsteps of the hotel. The pedestrian overpass nearby can get you across busy highway with ease. Restaurants are abundant around the hotel with the Jingan Temple Shopping Plaza and streets well populated with all sorts of restaurants and shops for you to enjoy. I particularly liked the Atrium cafe at Kunlun for breakfast and for meeting friends for afternoon coffee."
