Small room, firm bed, but it’s got everything I needed as a solo traveler. Location is great, and it’s totally worth the price.

This hotel with tiny but clean rooms locates at a convenient location of 5th floor of a shopping complex building. There are a lot of affordable yammy food options within walking distance, as well as a bus reaching jing'an temple in 3 stops, and 10 min walk to subway station. There is also a shelf at lobby for food delivery services so that guests can get there food without going downstairs. I am impressed with the clean room, well maintained facility and friendly staffs. However, due to high housing cost of downtown Shanghai, please expect an extremely small sleeping space (just filled with the bed) and a narrow bathroom equiped with disposable paper-like towels. Another disadvantage are too many smokers nearby (this property does not allow smoking in the room but there are smokers within the building or on the road which makes the air smelt a bit uncomfortable for me).
