The hotel was well maintained, with friendly staff, in a great location near the Bund. There was a variety of options for breakfast we had included (Asian and Western), and the lounge access we included was pleasant with friendly staff who remembered our preferences. The concierge also helped with getting a reasonable drive to the airport as Didi would have actually been more expensive. It was a great stay for our first time to Shanghai.

I never write hotel reviews but this one was special to me. It was my birthday coming up and they arranged to have a cake delivered to my room! It was a small cake, so please don't give your expectations up reading this review, but it was a perfect size for me. I was just so touched that they would go above and beyond for me, especially when it was not my birthday until after my stay. This service alone is worth 10 stars.

Location is ideal. Room is clean, but structure is old and strange. Stuff service is good. Breakfast was ok, vegetables and fruits were fresh but sausages were so-so. In hot section, there were only cooked noodle soups, but they were several bowls pre-cooked, not per order cooked by a dedicated chef.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others. The hotel has an excellent location, which made it very convenient for us during our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. A special thank you to Michael at the front desk. He was very nice, friendly, and patient when helping us during check-out. We asked him to print out our statements, and he took the time to help us without making us feel rushed. He was very kind and professional, and we really appreciated his excellent customer service. Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel. The excellent location, clean room, and friendly and helpful staff made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team, and especially Michael, for making us feel so welcome!

Michael at the front desk was wonderful. Last year I booked 3 nights here but unfortunately for me I had to leave after only 1 night and because I had used a 3rd party booking site they couldn't refund my money. But this year Michael remembered me from last years situation and upgraded my room for free trying very hard to make up some of the money I lost last year. Now that's real old fashioned customer service. I can't thank him enough for the kindness he showed me.

Fantastic experience! The executive rooms are well worth it offering the best views of the Bund and Pearl Tower with free access to the 30est floor lounge to complementary unlimited food and soft drinks all day and alcoholic drinks (6-8pm). The location couldn’t be more convenient too.

Perfect location for first time visitors to Shanghai. Building a bit dated but room was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly, professional and very efficient.
