Nice and convenient hotel

The hotel is right within Terminal 2 check-in hall of the airport with easy walking access to the dining area that offers a variety of restaurants. A nice and clean hotel with comfortable beds and efficient staff. A good place to stay for transit passengers for air and High-speed rail, the latter requiring a bit more walking but still within the same but very large building.

Airport Hotel Hongqiao

Very good location for late arrival or early departure flight from/to Hongqiao. Rooms are big and clean, looks all still very new. Dinner was excellent and laso the breakfast buffet had a really high selection for all kind of food.

This is the best place to stay if you need to have one night layover at Hongqiao airport. Very clean and staffs are polite and helpful! They also have their exclusive airport custom so you don’t have to wait in the line like everyone else . You can even check-in at the hotel counter if you fly Air China

Very convenient for airport and railway station. Rooms are well appointed, very clean and quiet. Good variety offered for breakfast. Would not consider any other hotel if I wanted to be close to airport or railway. Only criticism is lack of direction signage in airport and railway for finding hotel location.

The property was easy to find and efficient check in. Limited english but makes sense. I made sure i booked a room with a window and they provoded a flight windowless room still. I paid the extra cost for a windowed room and thats what i expected.

OK but mostly targeted to Chinese travelers

Mostly targeted to Chinese travelers. Staff spoke very little english. Breakfast was not included which was a bit unclear when I booked. If you are new to Hongqiao airport and arrive from wrong direction it is hard to find as there are no signs.Look for signs to departure area, at the farm right is the hotel. Convenient location as you are practically in the departure hall.

The hotel locates on the departure level of HongQiao airport terminal 2, about 50 meters from the check in counters. I flew in, so it was super nice I didn’t need to drag the luggages around to find a taxi or walk far at all. Its walking distance to terminal 1, high speed train station and long distance bus terminals includes HongQiao-Pudong shuttle line. There are 2 metro lines you can take to the city center, and then other lines can take you to anywhere in Shanghai. Many restaurants or fast food chains in the terminals or around the train stations. The convention center and the Hongqiao CBD mall is also talking distance. You’ll find plenty of nice foods, shopping and entertainment there. It only took me 15 minutes on foot.

The room temperature was 27 degrees. No cool air. We were told to open the windows to cool it down. Yet there was construction outside. So a lot of noise. The front turning door failed twice. Apparently they knew the problems but didn’t fix. The hotel restaurants are ok. Some guests talked very loud. This is hard to control. However, the waiters and waitresses also chatted among themselves. Not good!! There is no restaurant nearby, except the airport inside.

Modern, convenient, and great breakfast!

I stayed for one night on business. The hotel was quite modern looking and comfortable. I was worried about noise from incoming and outgoing planes, but I barely heard a thing and the room was quite comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and included lots of western options in addition to amazing Chinese food. The location is relatively convenient to hop on to the subway to travel in to the city centre. If you are a foreigner, I do encourage you to set up your WeChat or AliPay application so you can scan your QR code to pay for the subway. It is much more convenient to use WeChat or AliPay then purchase metro tickets for each ride. Please note that it's a bit of a walk to the metro station from the hotel because you need to walk through the airport and then travel to the bottom level. You need to pass through security to enter the airport, but there was never a line and it was always very quick. I will consider staying here again as it was an affordable option with quick access to the Hongqiao Railway Station.
