Winter getaway
The cabin was easy to find and fit our needs well. There were a few small inconveniences we experienced but nothing extreme. When we arrived the heater was not working properly but the management company acted quickly and sent out a technician to fix it when we notified them. Unfortunately the wonderful wood burning fireplace was also not in working order. We double checked that the flue was open before building the fire but the house quickly filled with smoke. The smoke detectors seemed to not be in working order either because they never went off. The house became very cold quickly since it was snowing outside. We are so grateful that a technician was able to come fix the heater as quickly as they did. Some of the dishes in the kitchen were not clean either. We had to wash the dishes before we could use them. Everything else was wonderful. Our kids loved being able to watch their favorite shows on tv while up there. The internet worked well. The rest of the house was very neat and clean.

Loved it.
Great place to stay, really short walk to the lake. Check in and out was super easy. Had everything we needed, and the couches were comfy. The only complaint across the board from everyone was the beds. So uncomfortable (really spring mattresses) and only a sheet and quilt on top, so not very warm at the end of October. But other than that, loved it and will be back!

Nicely equipped house in a great area.
Nice cozy house with all the amenities. The home is close to everything and the neighborhood was quiet. Only complaint was the small kitchen with no dishwasher and limited counter space.

Very nice and cozy
Everything’s very nice, except the upstairs shower in the bathroom. My husband had to clean it. It was unappealing, and I did not want to take a shower in it, until my husband cleaned it. The cleaning staff just need to focus on making sure the bathrooms are desirable to want to bathe in. Also, some of the plates were not washed well, and that’s because they don’t have a dishwasher. But the cleaning staff should check to make sure that the plates are clean.

We loved, LOVED our stay at Dogwood Cabin. The home was so cozy and had way more amenities than we initially thought it wood. Plenty of cookware and dining ware/utensils. They even had a griddle for pancakes (I wouldn’t have taken my waffle maker had I known). The grill was ready to go with propane and the home was stocked with linens, towels, and even toiletries! There’s a smart TV so you’re able to watch all your favorite streaming channels and I had absolutely no issues with the Wi-Fi and was able to get some remote work done. My kids had a great time in the back snow area where there were already little slopes and sledding gear. We didn’t even have to leave to find a snow park. The location was awesome. Shaver lake was 10min away and all the little stores/pubs/restaurants were right around the corner. Since this home was dog friendly we took our two family dogs and they loved the home and snow just as much. I’m sure they out of all of us, did not want to leave. Big thank you to Vacasa who was able to move our date out - we were originally scheduled to stay the first weekend of March but due to the heavy snowfall, HWY 168 was closed. This past weekend was perfect and we’d love to come back in the summer months. See you soon!

Winter wonderland
Great trip and accommodations. Snowed a lot and made for a lot of fun. Only negative is no dishwasher and squeaky beds. Overall we loved the cabin.
