"The house was lovely and fulfilled our needs for a family celebration and get together. The time of year was not the best to enjoy the area or the outside of the property but it was the only time we were available to come together from all over the country. The kitchen in particular was our favorite room since we cooked and shared family meals that we have not been able to do for a long time. We found everything we needed to eat together, play games and watch movies. Just what we needed."

"The house is absolutely spectacular—spotless, thoughtfully designed, and full of personal touches that make every corner feel intentional and inviting. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need, which made our stay even more comfortable. The beds were incredible—extremely comfortable and perfect for resting after full days out. The surroundings are beautiful and conveniently located near nearby towns as well as several attractions and trails. We visited during winter, so there was quite a bit of snow—definitely make sure your car is equipped to handle snowy conditions. Sergei was very accommodating and easy to reach when we had questions or concerns. The only minor issue was the water pressure in some areas, which we believe was due to the especially icy winter this season, but it didn’t take away from our experience at all. The sauna was a wonderful bonus and made our short getaway even more special. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.. "

"The big sunroom is the best place to hang out with a cool (cozy!) fireplace and the great album collection. Lots of cozy comfortable seating and blankets for all of us too. We played games listen to music watched the sunrise and sunset. Dreamy."

"We had the best time at Sheila’s home! Super clean, organized and had everything we needed for cooking, relaxing and just hanging around the house. We also loved the fire pit outside for s’mores! Would definitely recommend staying here while exploring New Paltz, Gardiner and Walden. Thanks Sheila!"

"Problems w. outdoor furniture, boats, & hazards (poison ivy) that we weren’t made aware of.Rowboat leaks and is not safe for children. Outdoor dining table & chairs not useable because in need of power washing & chair backs unstable.Poison Ivy along paths where people walk (yes, one adult got it; very unpleasant) No credit given us for these issues…but we did get denial.First day we weren’t given code for oar box so couldn’t go on lake. Management gave us 65 credit for that…"
