It was spacious, the fireplace was very cozy, and we were fascinated by the house’s character and history, still discovering cool little details on our last morning. The managers, Mike and Katie, were also great, quickly responsive to questions, handy with recommendations, and also taking time out to describe a little of the house’s history. "

"Nicely updated farmhouse on great property. Lots of rooms to spread out and big dining room for everyone to gather for meals. Well supplied kitchen made cooking easy. Great communications with owners when weather got bad and for instructions using fireplace. Would stay again when in area. "

"We had a great time. The tent and toilet were clean. We appreciated the water provided and the cookware. The only thing to note is that there is a bit of walking on a rocky trail before reaching the campsite (not next to the parking spot). The river was fun to explore but can be difficult for younger kids to get to. The campsite is close to Minnewaska State Park, very convenient. "
