"We had a great time at this home! Beds were comfy, everything was well stocked and super clean! The beach was literally 10 steps away! We have stayed at plenty of homes in Oak Island and this one was definitely one of the nicest!"

"Had an awesome time at this wonderful location. If visiting this location with a large group as I did you may want to bring a few extra beach towels and bath towels. There were several supplied but with a large group you have to be doing laundry full time to keep clean towels on hand. Also consider bringing bathroom tissue. Only bathroom tissue supplied was the parcel rolls already put out beside the toilet. Other than that I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great location to visit the beach. Pool and hot tub were very clean and the beach was very nice and was not crowded at all."

"We had an amazing stay at this beach house! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The location was perfect, only a few steps from the beach with incredible ocean views, especially at sunset. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful beach getaway."

"Overall I give this property 2 stars, mostly because of the corporation running it. The customer service and attention to detail were lacking. We arrived on Sat.Check-in was 4pm. We had to get to Oak Island before 2 to pick up a beach wheelchair from the parks dept. We got to the property around 2:30, so I called and asked if we could get in early, since we didn't see any cleaning vehicles there. They told us no, so at 4pm we tried the lock and it didn't work. So I called back and they had to send someone out to change the batteries. So we got in a little later than expected. The view was beautiful, the place was plenty spacious for our 20 people. I got up on Sunday, showered and the tub in our bathroom didn't drain. I played with the drain cap but couldn't get the water to drain. We had similar issues with a few of the sinks. The hot tub was only lukewarm. So I called the office to ask for some service, but the office is closed on Sundays. In the meantime my nephew, who does maintenance at a property, was able to get the drain cap out of our shower. The drain was completely clogged with hair. He cleaned that out. He was able to fiddle with the hot tub to get that working. I understand that properties might have some issues. What I think is unacceptable is that the only service available on Sundays is "emergency service", which in their outgoing message they define what an emergency is. I won't stay with this rental company again. "

"The inside of the home was beautiful. There is great decorations and beautiful with the big windows in the living room and kitchen. The outside needs some cleaning. The dryer did not work. And there are a lot of light switches to figure out what works. We would stay again since it was clean on the inside. Thank you for the stay!"

"No ocean view. The house is cute from the front when you drive up. There are numerous issues with upkeep of the place. I wouldn’t even sit down for hours. Don’t think you’re gonna sit on a porch and see the ocean. The back yard is overgrown and the deck hasn’t been painted in years. The outside shower is dilapidated with a rotted shower curtain and an old water hose on the floor. The carpet inside the house is nasty. The throw rugs in the kitchen and bathroom need washing.I had to wash the cookware and the plates and silverware before I could cook. I was so disappointed that I wanted to just come home. After about 24 hours I accepted the fact that it was not as I had expected and was way overpriced. After that I made the best of it; ate out for meals and enjoyed myself.With a little money and a few days of work; this house could be very nice."
