"I stayed for one night at this 'hotel'. That was more than enough. The hotel supposedly had no record of my Hotels.com booking, which had been paid for. The internet never worked. Staff promised it would be fixed and provided numerous excuses. The tv had one English-speaking channel: Al Jazeera. The manager/owner 'fixed' it...for a matter of minutes. Kuriftu Entoto Adventure Park

8/10 Good

"Kuriftu tent stay on Entoto is very lovely. The staff is very professional and helpful, throughout the whole park. The bed was a little worn on one side and the faucets needed some maintenance. Nothing to interfere with a nice stay. The only issue, which Kariftu cannot change, is the three churches which you hear quite well in the night and early mornings, as if the speaker is outside your room from the recently remodeled church. Take a good pair of ear plugs!! The park itself is lovely for many kilometers of walking along their paved trails, under the trees worth blue skies and fresh air!!! Beautiful with many stops for buna along the way!"

Gambella Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"I’ve stayed here several times for more than a week at a time over the years because I need to be in this particular area. This is not a fancy hotel, but for the price, it is great. The rooms are as pictured in the photos. Simple, but always clean and the staff are extremely nice. As with much of Addis, the area around it is changing/developing dramatically. If you need to be in the Arada or Amist Kilo area, I’d stay here."

Soramba Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Fabulous hotel, considering the price. Clean, classy rooms, very helpful staff, free airport shuttle. They even have two lovely restaurants: one modern, and another all traditional. Top quality."
