"We eloped in Shenandoah National Park and used the house to host an intimate wedding celebration. The house is absolutely gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. The rooms are all beautifully decorated and the place is stocked. I highly recommend using this house as a “venue” for your small wedding / elopement. Hosts were also very communicative. I do want to note that check-out procedures, including timing, were not consistent. I recommend updating all procedures so that timing, etc. aligns to prevent future guests from having uncomfortable interactions with the cleaners. Otherwise, we had an absolutely amazing stay and hope to return one day!"

"Beautiful property with stunning views. It was exactly what I needed to relax from hectic schedule. So peaceful to sit in hot tub and hear nothing but nature…BEYOND expectations! I am a lover of log cabins and this one did not disappoint - every room/space was gorgeous. Looking up while reading in the library to see the spectacular views was unmatched! On a personal note - owner Jim was very helpful in assisting me and answering questions. Can’t wait to come back! "

"The home is lovely. It's clean and described very accurately. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning and evening. The pavilion was not as close as it's made to look in the listing. Too far to send my children alone. The river bank was too overgrown to really fish or swim so that was a bummer. However, we really enjoyed our stay and would do it over again a hundred times. "

"This mountain chalet suite was absolutely perfect for four adults looking to unplug for a weekend. The house stayed cool the entire time we were there and we made use of the charcoal grill and other amenities. We had five deer friends in the yard on the regular. Elif and Ferhan were very informative, communicative and their property is clean and beautiful! "
