"Great location, but quite an old hotel, could do with some renewal work, updates to facilities. Went during Easter break, but not very festive as compared to another hotel wilh the same price-point at shenzhen that also has a more personal touch. Nothing special. 3.5/5 for cost-effectiveness. "

"This was our 3rd trip to this hotel, but our first since China had reopened to American visitors. Two of the three restaurants have closed and not reopened. The outside bar and vip area was closed. The outside pool was closed. The wait staff spoke poor or no English and the menu was severely limited. At Maro more than half the food was unavailable and their drink menu was almost non existent. The staff spoke little English. The front desk staff was kind and rooms were nice. I hated to see...

"On Sunday 28th Jan there were some events at the hotel in the evening. As guests of the hotel, we struggled to use the lifts as there was large crowd streaming through the lobby and heading to the events. Some sort crowd control should be in place. This is probably the only unpleasant experience I have encountered at the hotel but a significantly unpleasant one. "
