Charming 1910 Pet-Friendly Home in Sheridan, WY | Huge Fenced Yard Steps From Dog Park | Updated Kitchen & Cozy Fire Pit | Walk to Downtown Dining & Bighorn Mountain Adventures | Ideal for Families & Fur Babies

Summary:

Welcome to your next Wyoming escape — a beautifully restored 1910 craftsman home nestled in one of Sheridan's quietest, most charming neighborhoods. From the moment you step onto the inviting front porch, you'll feel the warmth of a place that's been thoughtfully curated for comfort, relaxation, and making memories.

This isn't your average vacation rental. Every detail has been considered — from the fully stocked gourmet kitchen with quality ceramic cookware to the plush, hotel-grade bedding that guests rave about. The spacious, fully fenced backyard is your private outdoor oasis, complete with a fire pit for evening s'mores and stargazing under Wyoming's legendary dark skies. And if you're traveling with your furry best friend? You're just steps from one of the best dog parks in Sheridan, with a scenic creek-side walking path right behind the house.

Inside, you'll find a home that honors its 1910 roots while delivering every modern convenience. Lush houseplants fill the sun-drenched rooms, an updated bathroom offers a relaxing shower-tub combo after a day of adventure, and a powerful air conditioning system keeps you cool even on the warmest summer days. The washer and dryer mean you can pack light and stay longer.

Located just minutes from Sheridan's vibrant downtown — with local favorites like the Cowboy Café and Rooski's Jitter Juice within easy reach — you're perfectly positioned for both relaxation and exploration. Whether you're here for a quick overnight on a cross-country road trip, a week of Bighorn Mountain adventures, or a special celebration with loved ones, this home becomes your personal retreat.

Guests consistently tell us this is one of their favorite stays — and we think you'll agree. Drop us a message to start planning your perfect Wyoming getaway.

The Space:

From the moment you walk through the door, you'll feel the character that only a 1910-era home can offer — updated with everything you need for a truly comfortable stay.

THE LIVING AREA

Sink into the cozy living room, where natural light pours through original windows and lush houseplants create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Settle in with the smart TV and premium sound bar for movie nights, or browse the curated collection of books and journals on the shelves. This is the kind of space that makes you want to linger a little longer.

THE KITCHEN

Your home-cooked meals just got an upgrade. The fully renovated kitchen features modern appliances, a dishwasher, quality ceramic cookware (no cheap Teflon here), and a fully stocked pantry with coffee, tea, spices, and condiments. Whether you're whipping up breakfast before a hike or preparing a holiday feast, you'll have everything at your fingertips.

BEDROOM ONE — THE PRIMARY RETREAT

Unwind in the spacious primary bedroom with a plush queen bed, premium linens, and generous closet space. You'll sleep deeply here — guests tell us the beds are one of the best parts of their stay.

BEDROOM TWO — THE GUEST SUITE

A second comfortable queen bed awaits in the guest bedroom, with its own closet and the same attention to comfort and quality linens.

BEDROOM THREE — FLEXIBLE SPACE

A third sleeping area with a queen bed provides room for larger groups or families. An air mattress is also available upon request for additional guests.

THE BATHROOM

The updated full bathroom features a relaxing shower-tub combo, fluffy towels, and plenty of counter space. Everything is kept spotless — because cleanliness isn't negotiable.

LAUNDRY

A full-size washer and dryer are right off the kitchen. Pack light, stay longer — we've got you covered.

THE BACKYARD & OUTDOOR SPACES

This is where the magic happens. Step out into a massive, fully fenced backyard — your private retreat for morning coffee, evening fire pit sessions, and endless fetch with your pup. The sprawling yard is dotted with mature shade trees, and the kids will love the outdoor play space. You're literally steps from Sheridan's premier off-leash dog park and a beautiful creek-side walking trail.

Out front, a charming porch invites you to sit with your morning coffee and wave to the friendly neighbors.

THE FRONT PORCH

Start your mornings or end your evenings on the welcoming front porch — the perfect spot for a cup of local coffee and quiet conversation.

Quiet and Charming

This was a great place to spend a few days while visiting our daughter at college—close to downtown, but in a quiet neighborhood. We wanted to see if it would be good for our two dogs too next time, and the back yard with access to a dog park/walking path is perfect for that!

Frackelton stay

Loved the ability to bring our dog, and dog park behind the house with fenced in yard. House was cute, but needed more than one small couch to sit on besides wood chairs. No internet the whole time so no tv available.

Great home base

We went to Wyoming for Longmire Days in Buffalo but decided to stay in Sheridan because it has so much to offer in entertainment and restaurants, snd it’s a good central spot to travel to other areas in WY. The house was immaculately clean, impressively restored and very comfortable fir our visit.

Cute House!

We stayed here one night during a road trip so we did not get to fully experience Sheridan and the neighborhood, but the house was just what we needed. A nice, comfy bed (my husband and I even slept on the pull out couch and it was comfy!) and cute decor!

Nice House in Quiet Neighborhood

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The beds were comfy, and our son enjoyed the "secret door" in the closet between the two rooms. The master bathroom was spacious. The kitchen also had plenty of room, and we enjoyed watching the dogs play in the dog park behind the house from the kitchen windows. Downtown was a quick 5 min drive. We had a great trip and hope to be back soon.

Dog friendly clean and updated vintage Sheridan home

Loved the doggie door and close proximity to the trails and dog park. Loved cooking in the kitchen, provided coffee accommodations, dishwasher, and washer and dryer. AC was a treat on the 80 plus degree days. The once beautiful back yard needed to be weeded and mowed but a gentleman did come by and spruce up the landscaping in the front. Tried to book again for a future visit in the spring but every date was blocked.

Great stay at Frackleton

The house was wonderful and cozy as suggested in the listing. Kitchen was well stocked appreciated all the extras coffee, tea, spices and first aid items for example. The location to dog park, walking path and downtown was awesome. Neighbors were friendly if/when we saw them. I would stay here again. My only concern was responsiveness of property manager sometimes it took more than 24 hours to respond to a question. Also we did not see a grill as noted in the listing. Thank you!

Peaceful home

This older home is well-maintained and clean and the neighborhood is quiet. The beds are comfortable and it had the essentials for a comfortable stay. Proximity to the dog park and walking trail a plus. We were very disappointed in the state of the backyard. We picked the home because of the fenced in yard for our dogs. However, it was over grown and full of mushrooms and the lawn clearly hadn't been mowed in weeks. One of my dogs ended up ripping off a toenail. I encourage better upkeep.

Wonderful and cozy

Had a few hiccups at first but house was great. We stayed for a week. I loved that it was so cozy. Weather was cold but the house was so nice and stayed warm. It had comfy beds and lots of warm blankets. Loved that we could have our dogs with us too. We were able to have a few family members over for dinner and game nights. We enjoyed watching movies on the large living room TV. Loved that the living space was so open, but wished there were a few more soft places (couch or love seat) to sit for watching movies. Dinning table was really small so we opted for carpet picnics when more than 4 people were eating. Kitchen had cooking supplies but lacked kitchen towels and only a 1/4 roll of paper towels when we arrived. Walmart is a short 10 min drive to get groceries so we were able to get more paper towels. Kitchen had full size fridge so that we only needed to do 1 shopping trip for our week long stay. Neighborhood was quiet and we got to watch lots of dogs playing in the adjacent dog park. Home was very quiet, no traffic or noise inside the house. Only issue was the lack of towels, there were 4 of us staying for a week, we only had 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels and one kitchen towel. Luckily there was washer and dryer at the house so we did laundry every other day. We loved our stay, looking forward to our next WY visit. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Convenient location, kitchen looks to be recently remolded and had nice appliances. I really enjoyed all of the wonderful live plants, made it feel more home like (I have plant envy!). There was a burn ban so wasn’t able to use the fire pit, but there was plenty of wood and kindling if we could have. Would definitely stay here again.
