"This was a cute place to stay. I did not use the pool (wanted to but didn't have time) and did not get up in time for the breakfast, so I can't speak to those. It's clear the people who renovated this motel went for both style and authenticity and it was well done. The guy at the desk when we first arrived was very nice and graciously accommodated my request to switch rooms to try to find a firmer bed. He also brought us, unasked, two bottles of cold water when we switched rooms, which was also much appreciated because we were worn out from the drive and from lugging our stuff around. Quality service from a motel. Very nice, low-key, friendly guy. The rest of my review is to point out things other visitors should know. This place can be a little hard to find. It's sandwiched between two much larger buildings, so it can come up on you fast. The beds could be a little firmer. I have back problems so usually need a firmer mattress. Electrical has not been updated, but an extension cord did provide what I needed to run my bedside C-PAP/BiPAP machine. Note that bathrooms do not have a fan. Historically accurate, but you have to open a window to air it out. It would be good if the motel could put drapes or blinds of some kind that could be closed over the window when in use, as the buildings next to it have higher windows that can see into the bathroom! It's vintage, so heads up that it's small on space. $11/night parking fee is standard but greedy. Otherwise, nice place."

"Staff were good, location for Sherman Oaks/ Van Nuys is good but the downside is it backs the 405 & even being on the inside corner main floor of the main building (room 114) there was still traffic noise from 4am on on Monday was bad plus the backed up traffic on Sepulveda & Burbank makes turning left out, or getting in a game of chance if you do not plan how to approach it. For an accessible room the space was good but the bathtub was ridiculous as the hand wand diverter was on top of the shower head & even being abled body I had tough time switching it let alone my partner who is missing a leg so sits in the tub. The wand was also too short. I brought it up at the front desk & got a "meh" response. The decor & especially the carpet need changing. From clean feet to black just walking across it. ALSO non smoking on the entire property which expedia or the room choice made no mention of & I specifically got the room we got for my wheelchair bound wife to be able to exit the room to smoke medical marijuana so altogether for about $300 per night I expected more."

"We are an ʻohana from Hawaiʻi, and we genuinely loved staying at The Enchanted Manor for our Fourth of July family vacation. The home was exactly as described, and we made some of the most wonderful memories here with our keiki.Georgia is truly a blessing to meet. She has so much aloha, and it was such a privilege to stay in her beautiful home. We are incredibly grateful for her kindness and hospitality. My 9-year-old daughter said it is the home of her dreams and lovingly calls it a “fairy house.” The saltwater pool and waterfall jacuzzi were such a special treat and made our stay even more magical. This was the best Fourth of July weekend our ʻohana has had yet, and we enjoyed every moment of it.Much mahalo, Georgia, for opening your beautiful home to our family. We hope to return again someday! "

The house was exactly as described in the photos and description, the house was clean and inviting, pet friendly, and the pool was an absolute “hit” for my kids! The area was quiet and we felt totally safe and everything we needed was just a few minutes away. EXCELLENT STAY!"
