This is such a unique place. All the furnishings are one of a kind- not like chain hotels. Every little nuance of your stay is made so nice- from the welcome note to the marvelous continental breakfast with a fancy coffeemaker. We especially want to commend the front desk clerk, Winston who made us feel so welcome after a too long day traveling.

Charming house-style hotel

This place is adorable. Stayed in the petite duplex and it was so charming. Loved the free wine + patio and the local pastries in the morning were delicious! Highly recommend.

Another great stay

Another great stay at svb50, a few things have changed such as there’s no honour bar which was a real shame but didn’t affect our stay. Room was comfortable and the room amenities were excellent. Would stay again as it’s in the heart for Beverly Hills and Hollywood.

Clean and well kept cozy small boutique hotel. Loved our room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking Hollywood Hills. Friendly staff. Valet fee is pricy but the service was super quick. Breakfast is continental and simple with good pastries. Wish they could provide at lease boiled eggs for protein, though. Overall a great comfortable hotel.

Really nice boutique hotel with great style and amenities. Rooftop happy hour was a nice touch as was the complimentary continental breakfast (which was far superior to the typical continental breakfast.) Virginia took the time to chat with us and left a nice note wishing us a happy stay. The housekeeping staff was so kind and hardworking.

The hotel is so cozy and the rooms are not too small. The personnel were super nice and loved the breakfast room. Also the automatic espresso machine!! The only flaw I would say is the room lighting is very dark and not able to adjust it higher than a certain point

While the decor, robes, slippers, Nespresso machine, free snacks and a variety of continental breakfast options were a plus, the front desk needs to have a more positive attitude and be friendlier. The hotel would definitely benefit from having a pool. The worst part was the construction next door, so I’d avoid this hotel until that’s complete.

Quiet Luxury

I really enjoyed my 2-night stay at 850 SVB. The staff was extremely kind and gracious. My room was quiet, comfortable, and well-appointed. The mattress, sheets, and toiletries were perfect. I thought the outdoor area (pictured) was a nice touch. I ordered room service twice -- food was terrific but a bit on the pricey side. The hotel is in a walkable area. I will most definitely stay at 850 again.

We drove into town for a concert at The Whisky. We decided to find a place due to the weather and arriving early. I came across this cute Bed & Breakfast and decided to splurge on a room for my husband birthday. We were pleasantly surprised by the property. It gives all the good feels. The staff adds to the unique atmosphere. Love the toiletries and mini bar! Fireplace was perfect for the rainy weather. I also loved the turn down service while we were out for the evening. It's the little touches that separates cute bed & breakfasts from boutique hotels. We will return anytime in West Hollywood ❤️
