"Everything from booking to checking out was easy and professional. The house was exactly as described and thoroughly cleaned and equipped with everything you need. The owners were available and very responsive to answer any questions. I would strongly recommend this house for anyone who wants the ease of exploring Door County yet wants to recharge away from all the hustle and bustle. Our only negative is wishing we could have stayed longer ... our brief stay was consumed with a wedding to attend, but plan to be back in the future! PS - bonus we were blessed to watch one of the sunsets over the bay at the "old" launch access right down the road."

"The view of the lake was beautiful. There are Adirondack chairs for you to hang out in and relax. You can also walk down the stairs to get closer to the water. We did a little swimming. The cottage is very cute. No A/C but the host has fans in all the rooms so it was still comfortable. We were within driving distance of all the main attractions. The host, Andre is very kind and very helpful"

"The home's kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, cooking pots, etc. for a large group. We enjoyed the large driveway for playing hockey and other outside activities for the young people. The back deck was so relaxing. Loved having the kayaks and dock for fishing. The family also had a good time playing pool in the basement rec room. Overall everyone had a great time. Thanks for sharing your home with us."

"We loved staying at this beautiful home with such a beautiful view! We had everything we needed in the kitchen, the home was bigger than expected, and the beds were so comfortable! We took the kayaks out every day and saw so much beauty in the cove! The pelicans, ducks, seagulls, water otters and even a family of mice were fun to watch! The children enjoyed all the water toys, the lilly pad, and the paddle board. The 4 man paddle boat was fun to take out too!!! Our family reunion of 10 had the best time ever at Door County! We have spent July 4 week together in Door County for eight years now, and this home at Sturgeon Bay was the best by far!"
